Many spouses feel that companies don't think they will work as hard because they are not a long term employee - but I think almost the opposite is true. The military life makes us incredibly flexible workers, which is a strength. Military life is always changing, which has taught me to adapt quickly and just go with it! I've also had the opportunity to live and work in a variety of places with a variety of people which gives me the ability to adapt easily to any situation.

In June of 2011, I found my Care.com Mom Force Representative position through Craigslist. I had been sporadically searching for a position that would allow me to work from home when I came across the listing. I have worked as an administrative assistant for the Dean of Students at a small college, as a nanny, as a family child care provider on a military base and as a preschool teacher for 3's and 4's (and don't forget full-time mom of 4!). I really love working with children and their families in some capacity!
