| I am a speech and language therapy student at the University of Sheffield, meaning i have a deep understanding of a range of special needs and communications difficulties. This day time experience in a SEN care role has been useful but my summer at Elks Camp Moore for special children in new Jersey has given me unbeatable experience with children with SEN. Ranging from ASD to cerebral palsy and dravet syndrome, I worked with individuals with special needs for 1 week 24 hours a day for 10 weeks of my summer in 2018.
