Special Needs Care in Aylesbury Vale

| I have worked for a charity for 7 years working with children up to the age of 19 with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs including behaviours that challenge. I have a level 3 diploma in children and young people in residential care which has given me in depth learning on how to support vulnerable children. In addition, my older sister has severe autism, Tourette’s and fragile X syndrome which has given me a wide range of experience. I have also worked as a carer supporting elderly people with washing, dressing, feeding and companionship so feel I have a great deal of experience in all elements of care. As well as being an experienced babysitting looking after children from the ages of 2 up to 16 years old.

| I have been working with children and young people with Autism, Challenging behaviour and Complex needs for 8 years, I work for a company where i started as a support worker then went to a senior support worker, team leader and now i work in Transitions for the same company. I have a DBS and have all the mandatory training such as safeguarding, first aid, health and safety, Epilepsy, Manual Handling and more. I love the job i do and enjoy helping the young people achieve things we didn't think could be possible.
