A compassionate, organised and dedicated youth worker and manager with over 4 years’ experience working with young people aged 14-20 with serious drug and behavioural problems in statutory and private care. I have rich experience of supporting and caring for youth diagnosed with a profound, multiple and complex support needs from severe attachment, development and personality disorders to autism, eating- and self-harm disorders. I am very experienced at working with clients who have an extensive history of violence and aggression, and am both adept and confident working in direct contact with clients, including when having to use physical restraint on clients during extreme violent outbursts. My passion, ambition and drive is to help and be a part of the process in which marginalised youth are supported to become integrated, thriving members of society.
