| Hello, my name is Gemma and I run a professional and reliable dog walking and pet care service in the new forest and Southampton called The Animal Angel. I am canine first aid trained, insured and have a clear DBS police check. I have a lifetime of experience with a wide range of animals. I currently have 4 rescue dogs, a cat, 3 rabbits, 1 guinea pig, and a crazy ferret! I also have experience with horses (volunteered at a stables), terrapins, tortoises, rats, hamsters and even hermit crabs. Because I have had numerous animals I have extensive experience with medical issues, behavioural problems etc. Two of my current dogs require strict exercise regimes and daily medication. I have dealt with and rehabilitated dogs with spinal injuries, a brain tumour, incontinence and heart problems. I have a keen interest in canine psychology as after adopting 2 dogs from oversees with various behavioural problems and I have had to learn behavioural training very quickly, because if these experiences I am currently training to become a canine behaviourist and myotherapist. I can help out with dog walking, cat/small pet visits and also puppy visits if they require loo breaks, feeding or socialisation.

We had to put our dogs in a kennel once and it was the worst thing we did. It must have been horrible for them. I then thought that one day I'd like to start my own business where the dogs actually live with me in my home, not in some horrible cage with no love. I'd love to be able to have the opportunity to put animal owners mind at rest and know their dog is safe and having a nice holiday of its own.
