Pet Care in Kirkcaldy North

| I grew up with dogs and cats. I absolutely love animals in general. Right now I have 1 syrian hamster, 6 fancy rats and 2 guniea pigs. I've always wanted to do what I love as a job. The amount of love and passion I would put into this job is immeasurable. I've walked all kinds of dogs, I've looked after dogs and cats day/night. The happiness animals give you is amazing, they can make everyday a good day. I'm also trying to get fitter so having dogs with me would encourage me to walk a lot more, I already love walking and I am an avid walker. My family have dogs and cats that I see often and look after very often. If I am considered for a job I can promise whoevers pet I am responsible for will have the best time with me. As I say I just love animals and I can promise you your pet will be loved and treated as if they were mine. I love and adore any and all animals and that's why I have rats. People don't see ALL animals as special. Rats are cleaner than most animals and they are just like mini dogs. They are so sociable and loving. I hope you consider me to look after your animal, they will be in safe hands with me and I'm happy to meet before you agree for me to look after your pet.

| I have experience caring for and health checking animals ranging from small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) all the way up to horses from my practicals in my college course (HNC/HND Animal Care), I do not have experience grooming dogs but do have experience grooming horses. Anything new I am willing to try and I am very enthusiastic towards animals and definitely want a career in caring for animals, I want to gain as much experience as possible as well as spend as much time around animals as I can! I can offer dog walking, dog/cat sitting, and help in the yard with horses (mucking out stalls, turning out/catching, feeding, grooming). As mentioned before, I'm willing to try anything new (I may just need to be shown the desired task first! :) ) I also have some work experience from a high school placement at my local veterinary surgery, where I was to clean out kennels, prepare food, general clean up, and observe the vet and vet nurses. I have often helped out at stables before too, helping muck out, turn horses out to the field, feeding, and doing the occasional grooming. I am still at college hoping to achieve my HND this year, so I may not be available on some mornings (two to three days a week).

| I have many years of experience as a pet owner. I grew up surrounded by pets and as such have developed a parental style of care for them. I have: an African Grey parrot called Mickey, a cat called Arya and two rats called Viago and Junkrat. I am also always surrounded by dogs, reptiles and birds owned by my friends and extended family. I volunteered at the Sunny Harbor Cat Shelter as a teenager and learned a lot from my time there.

| I absolutely love animals. I was brought up on farms so have vast experience looking after a wide range of animals. My partner has 6 working dogs so I have a lot of experience with looking after dogs. They make me happy so I don't see taking care of them as a job but more of a passion.
