| Hi there! My name is Erin, I'm 23, based in Thornton (Glenrothes/Kirkcaldy) and I am an aspiring veterinary nurse. I have recently completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film but am looking to change career snd pursue animal care. I have many years experience with domestic animals having grown up around various species of pets including dogs, cats, and rabbits. I currently own a tom-cat called Seamus and a mini-lop rabbit called Rica. I'd love the opportunity to gain some more animal care experience to improve my CV as I pursue a career as a vet nurse. I am friendly, punctual and a huge animal lover. I have over 20 years of animal care experience and owned a pet care business. No animal is a problem to me. I love all dogs and breeds and have sound knowledge in health and nutrition for dogs. I have 15 years equestrian experience looking after mares and foals as well as stallions. I specialise in looking after Arabian horses and taking care of all their needs from grooming to nutritional requirements. I am also currently undertaking BAT dog training and working with a rescue dog to help improve his confidence and behaviour. I have a strong empathy for animals. I love and adore them deeply. | I grew up with dogs and cats. I absolutely love animals in general. Right now I have 1 syrian hamster, 6 fancy rats and 2 guniea pigs. I've always wanted to do what I love as a job. The amount of love and passion I would put into this job is immeasurable. I've walked all kinds of dogs, I've looked after dogs and cats day/night. The happiness animals give you is amazing, they can make everyday a good day. I'm also trying to get fitter so having dogs with me would encourage me to walk a lot more, I already love walking and I am an avid walker. As I say I just love animals and I can promise you your pet will be loved and treated as if they were mine. I love and adore any and all animals and that's why I have rats. People don't see ALL animals as special. Rats are cleaner than most animals and they are just like mini dogs. They are so sociable and loving. | I have experience caring for and health checking animals ranging from small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) all the way up to horses from my practicals in my college course (HNC/HND Animal Care), I do not have experience grooming dogs but do have experience grooming horses. Anything new I am willing to try and I am very enthusiastic towards animals and definitely want a career in caring for animals, I want to gain as much experience as possible as well as spend as much time around animals as I can! I can offer dog walking, dog/cat sitting, and help in the yard with horses (mucking out stalls, turning out/catching, feeding, grooming). As mentioned before, I'm willing to try anything new (I may just need to be shown the desired task first! :) ) I also have some work experience from a high school placement at my local veterinary surgery, where I was to clean out kennels, prepare food, general clean up, and observe the vet and vet nurses. I have often helped out at stables before too, helping muck out, turn horses out to the field, feeding, and doing the occasional grooming. I am still at college hoping to achieve my HND this year, so I may not be available on some mornings (two to three days a week).

| I've had pets since I was a child and basically grew up in a household of 3 dogs and 5 cats. I've nursed kittens and small mammals, for example squirrels back to health.

| I've been a dog owner for over four years now. I've had my Joy since she was just a puppy, so I know a lot about taking care of young animals and some training. I'm experienced in grooming, feeding, walking and finding activities for pets. I've also had a parrot and a turtle and now I'm living with two cats (third on the way). I've always loved animals and that's why I want to help other people take good care of their pets. I'm planning on making career in Wildlife Conservative so I can assure that I'm talking caring for animals very seriously.

| I have many years of experience as a pet owner. I grew up surrounded by pets and as such have developed a parental style of care for them. I have: an African Grey parrot called Mickey, a cat called Arya and two rats called Viago and Junkrat. I am also always surrounded by dogs, reptiles and birds owned by my friends and extended family. I volunteered at the Sunny Harbor Cat Shelter as a teenager and learned a lot from my time there.

| I regularly house sit for a very sensitive rescue cat. I have lots of experience overnight sitting different dogs. I have my own car. I'm confident working on my own and I learn very quickly. I bond quickly with animals and I am still close with every owner and pet I have sitted for. I'm great with animals and comfortable cleaning up any mess. I'm comfortable staying in other people's houses, and I'm always respectful of the way you keep and organise your home.
