| Hello my name is Aodhán! I am originally from Galway in the West of Ireland. I have lived in Edinburgh for the last 4 years. I am a qualified nurse currently working in Edinburgh and due to my work commitments I am looking for relief care work. I have a 4 week rolling rota so I can plan weeks or months in advance. I would be suited to someone who needs more flexible care as opposed to routine care. I have been working in care since 2014. I have worked in many different settings and with various different client groups. I started work as a home carer when I was 17. This job included assisting elderly people with all activities of daily living. I then worked in a care home. After that I got a job working for the Brothers of Charity in Ireland. This role involved caring for individuals with profound intellectual disabilities. I found this work extremely rewarding and fulfilling. My most recent employment involved agency working in a variety of communities, care homes and hospitals all over Scotland.
