| Hi. My name is Sophie and I am 29 years old. I have worked caring for the elderly since I was 17 years old. I have a lot of experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I currently work in a care home on a unit looking after 20 residents with Dementia, attending to all their needs, from helping them with all personal care, morning and night. I would help with feeding and end of life care. I am Manual Handling trained, help with activities, am medication trained, am First Aid certified, and Dementia and Alzheimer's trained. I'm NVQ 2 qualified in health and social care and have many more other qualifications. I have also sat a four day intense Dementia course and got a passed rate. I feel I am a very good carer, who is willing to develop further. I love my job, but I am still always wanting to do more to help. I am very professional and respect everyone's beliefs, wishes and dignity. I'm very down to earth and bubbly and always want to make people happy, laugh and smile. I'm very patient, friendly, and like to Care to the best of my ability. I am very reliable if I say I can work a shift I will be there and never let anyone down.
