| I have taken care of an elderly individual with dementia, I assisted them with bed baths, incontinent care and I administered medication under the medical prescriptions. I have vast experience with various ailments such as, Alzheimer, Parkinson and cancer. I also perform light house chores like cleaning.

| I have worked mainly with elderly for nearly 7 years in the community and have had experience in care homes, I also was a field care supervisor for a year. I have my level 2 in health and social care. I’m a caring and compassionate person. I have worked with a variety of people and love the fact everyone is different and has a different story to tell. I’m experienced in dementia care, I have worked with mental health, administration of medication, moving and handling and most importantly person centred care.

| I’m Sheri & I’m 34 years old. I moved to Cambridge (CB1) in 2017 from Dagenham in Essex where I was born & lived until I decided to start a new chapter. I currently work for Home Instead Senior Care as a ‘Care Professional’, And have a CLEAN RECENT DBS to hand. I’m on a ‘Bank Contract’ so am looking for more hours with other Clients who may require my help, Which could even result in becoming my new main occupation. I have done a lot of care work for the elderly - this has ranged from clients who just needed a little home help to clients with severe dementia and whom were bed bound. My duties ranged from personal care to domestic care, housework, shopping, cooking, attending appointments with my clients. I have always had a caring nature. I cared for my wife when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, And I continued with her care until she sadly passed away. | I have experience working with clients living with dementia, mental health diagnosis, various physical disabilities and providing palliative and end of life care.I have had the opportunity to work as a live in carer with a broad spectrum of clients that required care and support in their home. I am happy to make long term commitments in order to maintain continuity for the client as I recognise that, for some people, continual change can be a cause for concern. I am happy to be in an environment where pets are present and willing to take responsibility for their care and welfare. I understand that, on occasion, there will be a necessity for specific training to be undertaken in order to meet the required skill set in order to successfully provide adequate support to clients and I am willing to meet any specific requirements to this end. I am comfortable in the day to day running of a household and willing to undertake duties as might be expected in this role (cooking, cleaning, shopping, light maintenance, etc.). My personal interests lie in wildlife conservation (a committee member of Cambridge and Peterborough Amphibian and Reptile Group) and life long learning (presently trying to gain mastery of a computing programme that can be used to explore data sets). I also enjoy travel and experimenting in the kitchen (with varying degrees of success!).

| I live in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge, travel by bike, not car, so need work within about two miles of home. I love looking after people with dementia either as a home help or a carer. I am looking for a few hours work a week. The rest of my time i work as a volunteer in the Children’s Society and the Salvation Army charity shops. As well as caring I could offer gardening, light shopping, prescription collecting etc.

| I have a Level 3 National extended Diploma in Health and Social care. I have worked in a care home caring for people with a wide range of disabilities and illnesses including palliative care and dementia, I provided all care including personal care, assistance with nutrition, mobility, social interaction, toileting and providing reassurance. I was the activity co-odinator and provided a wide range of activities for the residents including 1:1 walks, armchair aerobics and arts and crafts. I have completed an administration of medication in house course within the care home and I am able to administer prescribed medications within the care home. I have looked after a lady in her own home with dementia, I supported her with nutritional needs, reassurance when anxious and helping her to remain independent in her own home.

| I have been caring for an elderly gentleman suffering with dementia for the past 3 and a half years. Sadly he passed away last week and I am now looking to find a person in need of my care. I am from South Africa but I do have British citizenship. I have several nursing degrees (including a degree in psychiatric nursing) and have spent my entire adult life in the care industry. I am looking for a long term placement. I have a valid UK driver’s license with no restrictions on it. My previous job included shopping for my client, cooking, assisting him with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, keeping appointments, arranging gardeners and cleaners as well as general household maintenance. I developed a good relationship with the local surgery and regulated his medication and monitored and recorded his health issues accordingly. I am practically minded and have utilised available services to ensure ease of living and safety needs of my client.

I hold RoSPA for Safer People Handling Trainers Level 3 Health and Safety OCS Grade 1 and 2 Health and Social Care Level 1 and 2 NVQ Ascentis Level 3 Award in Education and Training Level 3 Award Frailty Champion Online course I am only availible in the evening
