| I have been working in childcare for almost 20 years, with a level 4 qualification. I have experience of caring for and educating children aged 0-12 years. I have experience of working as a special needs coordinator within the early years sector. I have three children and four grandchildren, and a dog. I originally qualified as a state enrolled nurse before coming into the childcare sector.

| I have previously worked in private nurseries and babysat the children on the weekends. I currently work in a residential children's home. I have helped my sister look after her two boys since they were born (they are now 9 and 6). I am DBS checked, have my own car, don't smoke, am first aid trained and also have a level 2 in food hygiene from a previous job.

I have worked with children aged 6 months - 11 years over the past 7 years. I have had 5 years experience with children, age 6 weeks up to 13 years. I started off on placement, and have now built myself up to be a room leader in a nursery setting. I love working with children, and helping them benefit and develop to their full potential. I enjoy the quality time with children.
