My daughter has been a full-time nanny for around fifteen years; she loves her job so much that I myself have recently decided to take the plunge and make a change from my lifelong career as a legal / medical secretary. I love children and have been told that I have a very kind and patient demeanour. I am also able to be flexible in terms of working hours as I have no other commitments (husband fully house-trained and willing / able to cook his own meals!). In addition, I am very fond of animals so if you have pets, or are intending to have some, I would be more than happy being around them. I have a full, clean driving license (held for over 30 years) and my own reliable car. I am also a non-smoker. Ideally I am looking for around 20 - 25 hours a week. | I have been working in childcare for over 10 years now starting out in a nursery where I worked for 5 1/2 years then branching out and becoming a nanny I have just finished working for a family looking after there daughter for 2 1/2 days a week. I also work as mothers help 1 1/2 days a week for a lovely family whose nanny is currently on maternity leave. I am actively seeking a fulltime role if possible if not I am open to a few part time roles. I am fun and enthusiastic plus I love to get messy and spend lots of time outdoors.

| I have been babysitting for 6 years for local families. The children range from 4-14 years old with the largest family being 6 children. Due to my passion in sport, I was the school’s cricket and hockey coach for girls ranging from 12-18. This involved coaching all year groups throughout the week and taking them to sports competitions and matches with our Sports teacher. I also worked at play parties in Salisbury looking after disabled children and their siblings- I really enjoyed this experience as the children were such a joy to work with. Last Summer I worked at Manor Courses which is a summer school for international students wanting to learn english. My role for the 5 weeks was 'House Manager', (head of one of the boarding houses), looking after children as young as 5 who were away from their family for a minimum of 2 weeks. I am 1 of four in my family (a twin myself), and when we were growing up we had a lot of nannies and au pairs so I understand what it is like for the children to have someone else looking after them. I like to think children see me as a fun, kind and loving nanny/babysitter!
