| Hi my name is Kelsie, I live with my partner and our dog in nuneaton. I would consider myself to be trustworthy, reliable , honest, thoughtful and considerate. I have been told by previous employers that I am ' emotionally intelligent ' and would consider myself to be empathetic.I have worked with children since I left college at the age of 17. Working with children, and being in childcare itself, I believe is very rewarding as you are watching individual child develop their, physical, emotional and social needs. I believe, when working with and around children you need to have a 'fun but firm' attitude, what I mean is always have fun whenever you can because life is short ! but you need the child to know where you draw the line and what your 'serious ' face looks like to ensure you can both remain safe. This is how children will gain respect for the adult who is looking after them.

| I have worked in childcare for 15 years. I have looked after babies from the age of 3 months and children up to the age of 8 years in nursery settings. Myself and my family have just relocated to Coventry from the outskirts of London. I have both my level 2 and level 3 qualifications in childcare and have been on many first aid and food hygiene courses throughout my career. I thoroughly enjoy my career and it brings absolute joy to see the children I look after grow and achieve. I have some experience with working with children with different needs and have some experience with sign language in which I have been on sign language courses through out the years, for example, key word signs.
