| Hello, My name is Katherine and I am a secondary English Teacher. I have a lot of experience in caring for children of a variety of ages; at the age of 18 I started to spend my summers in America at summer camps where I was responsible for young campers aged between 4 - 18. This was a 24/7 job where our responsibilities stretched throughout the entire day and throughout the night. It was in America where I qualified as a lifeguard with the American Red Cross, so I was also responsible for their safety in on the water front. More recently, I have qualified with my PGCE and QTS (Qualified teacher status) at the University of York and have been teaching secondary English at school on the outskirts of York. As school starts in September, I am completely free during the summer holidays to care for your child/ren.

| I started nannying at 19. Got a childcare qualification at 22 in Early Years, then had my own children at 34. In lockdown I completed The Play Specialist Degree and now work full-time at Manchester Children's Hospital. I am available for babysitting in the evening and the occasional weekend. | I have had years of looking and minding after children from the age of 10 I became an older sibling to an autistic child. I mind for him on many occasions. Further I have had experience with other children in a range of ages through babysitting these ages range from 1 years old to 13 years old; within this it has ranged from night time routines and day time care. I am confident with my own abilities these include cooking, I’m versed in cooking I love doing it in my own time for myself, family and friends. Even more I can clean and like to ensure that whoever or wherever I am they’re guaranteed to have a clean happy home. I want to apply for this role as I have finished school awaiting my A-level results and want to put my time and effort into helping families for the summer in either a part-time or full time role in caring for children.

| My name is Chaitanyamayee, a passionate and dedicated individual hailing from India and currently residing in Heslington. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Economics from the University of York and have also earned a Master's degree in Pharmacy Practice from India in the past. Though my educational background is in healthcare, I am keenly interested in working as a part-time nanny or babysitter to supplement my income. I am enthusiastic about providing care for children, particularly those between the ages 3 to 9 years old, and am happily able to work with children with disabilities. I generally prefer a live-out arrangement and am ideally looking to work with one child to provide the most attentive care possible. My preferred duties include assisting with homework, dog walking and pet care, as well as running errands or grocery shopping — anything to help the daily routine run more smoothly! My availability is quite flexible, with the ability to work in the morning, mid-day, and evening on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am eager to start this new adventure by 1st October 2023.

| Experience and skills: Over the years through school i have had experience with volunteering at my junior school and in the nursery, enjoying playing with the children and also helping them read and with their homework. I have also had experience in an external nursery volunteering in the early years, enjoying playing with the children. Finally, i have had experience baby sitting and doing school drop off and picks up for our family friends. Availability: I am available to do school drop offs and picks up and taking your children to their activities as i have use of my own care. I am also available to help at home, whether it is helping cook their meals or putting them to bed or babysitting them if parents want a night off!
