From a young age I have been inspired to work with children. I have three younger sisters aged 4, 6 and 9. From newborn I cared for them every evening whilst my parents were at work and this has continued throughout their life. Therefore, I have gained experience with children of all ages, learning how to care and engage children of this age. I completed placements at college with children of different ages from 6 months - 10 years. Completing my college course at Triple Distinction shows my motivation when working with children. Gaining a huge amount of knowledge about children's needs and ways of supporting each individual has greatly benefited me when working with children and understanding how I can support each individual according to their needs and ability. I have completed a Paediatric First Aid course, this was an excellent experience which has greatly benefited my knowledge of how to help children when they are in need of first aid. I feel I am able to accept the challenge of the responsibility for caring for children.

I also have experience working in nurseries with babies and toddlers. I am friendly, honest and professional, and enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents. | Hello, My name is Lauren and I live in Felmersham, Bedfordshire. I am looking for babysitting jobs to earn some extra money and get some experience working with children. I am currently working as a nursery assistant and so am exclusively looking for evening and weekend work. I have a GCSE in Child Care and an A Level in Health and Social Care, plus an enhanced DBS check which was carried out by my current employer.

| I have just returned from working at a sleepaway summer camp in the US for two months, where- along with my co-counsellors- I took on parental responsibility of 25 girls. I lived in a cabin with them to take care of any need they had from morning to night- and even in the middle of the night. My role was vast and included guiding the children through homesickness, making sure they were eating well and playing games with them during our free time to name a few. I also taught cooking skills to children across the camp which has always been a passion of mine. A longstanding hobby of mine since childhood as been athletics, competing at a high level as a teenager. I am still a very active person who loves running around and being outdoors. I have just graduated with a 2:1 in BA American Studies and History from the University of Nottingham. I come from a large family with young children and have loved looking after my younger family members from a young age. I'm looking to work at least 30 hours per week. I am happy to prepare meals but not general housekeeping.

| I have been doing an apprenticeship in a childminding setting for 3 years now, I have done my level 1 childcare in college then my level 2 childcare apprenticeship I am currently half way through my level 3, I have work with new born up to 10 years of age. I currently work Monday to Friday so am looking for evening or weekend jobs.

| I am a qualified level 3 Early Years Practitioner. I am currently studying a BA degree in Early childhood studies. I have worked in several local nurseries ( I can provide references) and a part time nanny and childminder ( references also available). I also provide a evening babysitting service. I am a creative person and love organising creative and stimulating activities to further a child’s development. Be sure there will never be a dull moment!
