From a young age I have been inspired to work with children. I have three younger sisters aged 4, 6 and 9. From newborn I cared for them every evening whilst my parents were at work and this has continued throughout their life. Therefore, I have gained experience with children of all ages, learning how to care and engage children of this age. I completed placements at college with children of different ages from 6 months - 10 years. Completing my college course at Triple Distinction shows my motivation when working with children. Gaining a huge amount of knowledge about children's needs and ways of supporting each individual has greatly benefited me when working with children and understanding how I can support each individual according to their needs and ability. I have completed a Paediatric First Aid course, this was an excellent experience which has greatly benefited my knowledge of how to help children when they are in need of first aid. I feel I am able to accept the challenge of the responsibility for caring for children.
