Night Nannies Kirklees

| Hello, I currently work in a day nursery full time as the Room supervisor of the Toddler room and baby sit for some of the parents on an evening or weekends. Which I seem to enjoy and it is a easy way to earn extra cash. I also have experience of working with school aged children as well as babies. I have a level 4 qualification is children’s and young people’s learning and development, have some experience of working with an autistic individual and I have had a CRB check therefore I am suitable and qualified to look after your children while you have a hard earned evening or weekend off.

| I currently look after both my niece and nephew. Both aged 2 but have helped since they were both born. I have also done the odd night for friends of family but I am wanting to find some extra work!

| I am an NNEB and MNT qualified Nanny/Night Nanny with 30 years of experience. I am very honest, calm, trustworthy and loyal. After leaving school, I completed a two year NNEB childcare course. I secured my first full time nanny position shortly before I qualified. This was a live in position caring for a 4 year old and a newborn baby, I really enjoyed my time with this lovely family. I then went on to be a nanny for many more lovely families during my 30 year nanny career. After caring for newborn twins in my first night nanny post eight years ago I knew that I wanted to pursue this. I completed some further training and now work on a self employed basis as a Night Nanny in and around the Huddersfield area. My service is often used by parent's who have had twins or have had a c-section or simply exhausted parents needing a much needed rest! My clients find that getting a full nights sleep is more beneficial to them than getting some daytime help and only being able to grab a few hours of sleep. | I am an experienced babysitter and after school child minder in the comfort of your own home. I am also available for evening babysitting, I can get supper ready, bath the kids and put them to bed. I enjoy cooking meals, playing educational games and helping with homework. I have experience with children with complex needs and mental health. I have completed peg feeding training, using a hoist and moving and handling.

| I have a degree in Children, Young People, and Families with a 2:1 classification. During my time at University I worked as a part-time Nanny. Since leaving university I have worked as a full-time nanny as well as writing children’s fiction books. These roles included day trips, evening, and overnight duties. They have enhanced my independent ability to use innovative techniques to occupy children and given me confidence that I am trusted to independently care for young children. | I am a retired teacher, I am primary and secondary trained, after retiring from 30 years of teaching in 2017. I missed the interaction with the children so much that I was fortunate enough to be offered a position as teacher / evening matron at a local preparatory boarding school. I absolutely loved it and remained there until I relocated to Yorkshire in 2020 to be closer to my family. I continue to miss working with children and believe that I have so much experience in the education/ child care sector. I am extremely fit and well, have an innate passion and commitment to providing the highest level of care…… I also have a good sense of humour!
