| I am a fully qualified level 3 child carer with 20 years experience. I am Ofsted registered and approved. I have looked after children from birth to 18 years of age. All my qualifications in food handling and first aid are all up to date. I also have a good knowledge of the early years foundation stage. I have always wanted to look after children and enjoy encouraging them to learn and be independent in the activities they enjoy. The role of a nanny is very important to me as I offer the full care and affection any mother or father would, the role involves becoming a member of the family and this is very important to me on both sides. Most of the families I have worked for have had some contact with my own family and I like to view it as an extension to the children that I care for.

| I effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met. I develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs. I ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.. I am flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc. I work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the setting’s philosophy is fulfilled. I have read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role and the safe running of the setting. I develop your role within the team, especially with regard to being a key person I am completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff that is acquired as part of the job. To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
