Coming in from the US we were a little nervous about hiring a sitter for a few evenings. After many emails back and forth and upon meeting Jessica we knew our children would be in good hands. She was responsible for our daughter a couple of afternoons a week for a few months - she played with her, fed her, took her out for walks etc. We have now secured a place at a nursery but we will be using her again on an ad-hoc basis."

| I am reliable, committed and responsible and enjoy looking after children. I have babysat for family, friends and neighbours from a young age and have always wanted to work in the care sector. Just after finishing school I went abroad to do au pairing in ####.#### involved looking after three children ages 3,5 and 7. The role involved assisting them in their daily activities and teaching them English which Expanded my knowledge and communication skills. I have also completed an HNC in social services and an SVQ 3 in children and young people. Through this I was able to carry out a placement at Braidburn special needs school. This involved supporting children with various additional needs. This allowed me to apply the knowledge taught from lectures and tutorials when working with these children to support them to the best of my ability. Lori worked for our family taking care of three children aged 3,6 and 7, from July until November 2016. Her role was live-in. We found Lori to be very helpful, caring, reliable and sweet with the children - always with a smile on her face. She was able to hold the attention of each child, creating interesting games for them, even though there was a language barrier it didnt get in the way.
