I am a English BA (HONS) graduate who is looking for full time positions.
| I am a punctual, trustworthy and reliable person. I have taken care of my 12 year old cousin along the years since she was a baby. I also have experience with newborn babies from 8 months old . I am interested in full time positions.
Areti is a very reliable nanny. She was always on time and communicated in advance her availability. She had not worked with infants before and she wanted to meet us first before she decided if she would be able to care for our daughter. I appreciated that a lot, it demonstrated her maturity. She was responsible for our daughter a couple of afternoons a week for a few months - she played with her, fed her, took her out for walks etc. We have now secured a place at a nursery but we will be using her again on an ad-hoc basis."

Warm and experienced carer
| Warm, friendly and joyful carer of young children with over 6 years’ experience: au pair, support worker. Certificate pediatric first aider. Montessori Practical Life course. Passionate about working with children. As a childcare worker, I believe childhood happens only one time in the life, so we should protect it and make it special. Currently work in nursery with different ages group and looking for additional work during my free hours.
Aggie has been looking after our 5 year old son with special needs every week for 1.5 years. She became his best friend and forged a very special relationship. She is flexible, does her own research on how to best support him, which toys might interest him and follows his lead even if it means bracing the cold weather or spending loooong afternoons in our house.. My son very much has his own agenda but with a lot of patience and creativity she found a way into his world. Aga takes her job very seriously and has been a lifeline on so many occasions."

Friendly and responsible child care
| While I don't have any formal experience working in child care, I am eager to learn and grow in this field. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and find it incredibly rewarding to engage with them and help them learn and grow. I am a patient, kind, and nurturing person with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges. I understand the importance of providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in, and I am committed to doing everything I can to ensure that children in my care feel happy, comfortable, and supported. I am a quick learner and am eager to receive any training or guidance needed to excel in this role. I believe that my positive attitude, compassion, and enthusiasm make me a great fit for a child care role, and I am excited to contribute to the well-being of the children in my care.
The only Kat your Dog will Absolutely love is Kat! Kat has watched our mini Dachshund Olly for the last two days so we could tour around Edinburgh. Kat sent us photos of Olly enjoying his day, her messages and Ollys joy at seeing her each day made us feel we left our baby in the right caring and loving hands. She is a fantastic communicator and will love your pet likely just like you would. If I lived here she would be my go to pet sitter. If she is available to watch your pet I would grab her. Kat also did a beautiful drawing of Olly that had my wife in tears."

Fun and compassionate Social Work Master's student
| Hello all! My name is Nick and I'm a 23 year-old student getting my Master's in Social Work at the University of Edinburgh. I am empathetic, energetic, and love working with people! I have experience working with kids from my time as a youth rowing coach. For 4 years, I worked with children and teens age 12-17, teaching them to row crew, cooperate as a team, and build confidence. As an undergraduate, I worked as a Resident Assistant in a first-year dorm. I received training in leadership, safety, and inclusion; I went on to manage a floor of 40 Freshman, maintain Covid-19 safety during the pandemic, and facilitate community-building activities. I decided to join Care.com to find a flexible job that helps pay tuition while I complete my studies. I have CPR certification and crisis management qualifications. Through my social work program, I have received PVG clearance to work with both adults and children. I am passionate about cooking and am comfortable with meal-prep and household cleaning/organization. I love the outdoors, arts & crafts, books (I majored in English as an undergrad!) and Pixar movies! Please reach out with any questions and if you are in need of a babysitter!
Nick is providing some support for my 19 year old son, who has autism and ADHD. Nick has been professional at all times, with clear communication and highly reliable. I've been very impressed with Nick's ability to communicate with my son & support him to do things independently, in a friendly manner."
