I absolutely love working with children still and babysit regularly around my current job. I am first aid trained, have an enhanced DBS and am qualified to Level 2 and 3 in Edexcel Children and Young People's Workforce.

In 2012 I began working as a nanny and have been with the same family since then. I really enjoy nannying and think the role is what you make it. I like to be busy doing activities with the children. | ** currently not seeking employment as will be taking maternity leave from late august ** I’ve been working in childcare now for over 13 years. I have an nvq level 3 qualification in childcare and development. I began my career in childcare working in a virgin crèche where I spent many years caring for children aged from 6 weeks up to 12 years working my way up to team leader. From there I then became a nanny to a boy who at commencement of my employment was 14 months old. He was then also joined by a younger brother and my oldest son also came along too. I spent 6 years with the family leaving in July 2018 to then have my second son. My fees are negotiable. £12 ph is for after school nanny. If full days would charge £11ph Would also charge slightly less if bringing along my 2 year old. I am also not looking for a cash in hand agreement and would want to be employed with contract etc

| The skills i have for working with children, parents/ carers and as an individual is patience and good communication skills, this will build a trusting relationship between not only children but with parents/ carers as well. I cope well with time management and multitasking, when engaging with children i always ensure all children are included and do not feel excluded. The experience i have is 2 years in college studying early years foundation level 2 and level 3, I have now completed my course with both qualifications. i have been babysitting family/ friends children from the age of 15. I have 4 years experience in child care altogether, i am now looking to setting up my own business in relation to childcare, i feel like it is what i do best and this is the carer i have always wanted from a young age.

| I am a 23 year old creative who has unfortunately had upcoming work cancelled because of Covid-19. With schools shutting down and kids being off, I understand a lot of parents might need childcare right now- which is where I can help! I come from a big family and have a lot of younger cousins who I used to look after growing up. I have also volunteered as an English Teacher in Sri Lanka where I taught children aged 3-7 across a language barrier. I studied English Literature at university and was awarded a First Class Honours. I can thus offer more than just child care, also helping to tutor children and help with their homework. Having practiced yoga and meditation since I was 16, I have a calm, positive and adaptable mindset that allows me to cope well under pressure. I am incredibly creative and often create fun games, crafts and learning excercises that I practice with my younger cousins. I also think during this uncertain/scary time it is important for kids to go walking and get exercise so they can exert some of their energy!
