I've been a childminder, foster carer and looked after kids most of my life. I'm currently a community carer, working for the elderly and disabled. Been doing that for 4 years in my current job and 2 in another care company. I've fostered 10 kids ranging from 13mths -14yrs. I'm a granny of 6 kids 2-13yrs and I have 5 grown up children. I had my own child minding business for 3 years and I looked after 3 of our 6 grandchildren fir 3 months whilst their mum was recovering from a broken ankle. I'm looking to work either full time or part time but only want to mind 2 children under 5.

Hi everyone!
I’m Koni, I’m 21 and super excited to be starting my journey as a childminder here in Huyton. A little about me: I have 5 years of experience in childcare, a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, paediatric first aid, and I’m also a designated safeguarding officer. I’m always topping up my knowledge with extra training (I recently completed a SEND course, which I found so valuable!).
I moved up from London last year after getting married, and since then I’ve been working hard on creating a lovely “home away from home” setting for little ones. The whole downstairs of my house is dedicated to childminding, with lots of space for play, a big garden, and even a playground nearby for trips out.
I’ll be working alongside a fantastic assistant, Monday to Friday. We’ll be offering engaging activities every day, as well as plenty of child-led free play. Messy play and baking are big favourites of ours — I can’t wait to share some of the fun we get up to!
We also provide 3 healthy, home-cooked meals each day plus a mid-morning snack — all homemade with care.

Here at Little Pumpkins we have two play spaces that the children can freely choice from each day. Each area promotes all area's of the EYFS and encourages adventure, creativity, courage and quality learning. We have a 20ft child friendly back garden which includes a mud kitchen, play house, sand, water and scooters. We promote the indoor/ outdoor flow of learning and the children have 24/7 access straight to the garden from our play space.
Little Pumpkins is a brand new intimate childminding setting with a small ratio of children, offering a highly personalised approach for each child. With having a small ratio, I am able to build positive relationships with all children and families and incorporate one to one activities, to encourage your child to learn and develop.
Monday to Thursday (all year round)
8 am - 5 pm
£55 a full day ( includes food)
*Only full day spaces available *
Early start times and later finish times are an additional £10
