| I have 19 years experience of working with children of most ages. I have worked as a Nanny, in a nursery, managed an after school club and worked many years as a teaching assistant. I am NNEB qualified and hold a current first aid certificate. I also love animals!

| I've worked at Heyhouses Breakfast and After School Club for 3 years now which involved helping children with work, leading sporting activities and helping prepare meals. I can offer references for this work and have enjoyed every moment. I love working with children and help to provide a welcoming, safe but fun environment when times are busy! I have done my work experience in a nursery when I was in high school. I have looked after, babysat and cared for younger family relatives, family friends and people who have reached out to me after I have been recommended to them by other parents. I have experience with looking after babies, children and teenagers. I have experience in looking after children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and physical difficulties. I have worked in the care sector for 6 years supporting and caring for people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities including mental health. I have a full clean DBS and I can provide references if needed. At the moment, I am a supply teacher with a teaching agency so I am ideally available after school hours, holidays and potentially weekends. I am trustworthy, reliable, punctual, honest, caring, friendly and kind. I am firm but fair, I am relaxed and I have a down-to-earth personality. I am a confident person with a bubbly personality and a positive outlook on life. I am a creative person who loves to enjoy life.

| For a long time I have had an interest in working with children. After having much experience helping family and friends with their children, and working with children in nursery and school settings, my passion for working with children has grown. While at high school I completed a GCSE in childcare, then followed this with 2 years at college, doing a BTEC Extended Diploma in Childcare. During this time I have had experience with children from birth up to the age of 11 and have thoroughly enjoyed working and gaining experience with each age group. | I worked in nurseries with children from tiny babies up till 8/9 year olds at after school club for almost 10 years before returning to university. I then got into babysitting and nannying, becoming experienced at working with children who have special needs. I have my own car and am more than confident in everyday things like preparing a child for school and dropping them off, collecting them and getting their dinner and bath/bedtime routine done, or planning a fun day out and about if there is no school.

| I'm 19 years old at university studying History. I have a younger brother and sister aged 15 and 12, since I was about 12/13 I have helped my mum and dad look after them after school, this involved me picking them up, making their tea, making sure they were entertained and ready for bed (when they were younger). So I've always been around young children and absolutely love them! I also worked in a dance school for some time teaching young children on a Saturday morning and since studying in my degree I have decided I want to go into teaching. I've always been surrounded by young children, I want to be a teacher and I can't think of a better way than to spend my summer looking after children, whilst helping you, the parents, out. :)

At the moment I work in a nursery , what also has a after school club and holiday club. This means I get to work with older children and not just pre school children. I’m very outgoing and like to be kept busy at all times. I feel that taking children out and having planned activities Available for them to access at all times is important as children learn through play. Taking children out of a setting helps with their social skills as they might make new friends , this is great. Most importantly I think keeping the children safe and happy Is the most important thing. Children should feel loved and wanted by anyone that is looking after them , so that they know they are safe and can have fun.
