After School Care Southport

| I am very friendly and out going, I have a real passion and enjoyment for working with young children. I have a CACHE level 3 in childcare, I have also got a degree in Early Childhood Studies from Roehampton University. I have got a DBS which is on the update service. I have over eight years of experience working with children from birth to five working in nurseries. The last six months I have been working in a local primary school as a teaching assistant working across different year groups and doing 1:1 work. During my last year at university I was a part time nanny looking after three children aged 3,7 and 11. I was responsible for dropping the children off at school in the morning and picking them up from school in the afternoon. I also supported the children with their homework and prepared healthy meals and did some light housework. I am looking for work during the summer holidays within the local area with the possibility of continuing into the school term doing after school pickups. I am also available for baby sitting. | I've worked at Heyhouses Breakfast and After School Club for 3 years now which involved helping children with work, leading sporting activities and helping prepare meals. I can offer references for this work and have enjoyed every moment. I love working with children and help to provide a welcoming, safe but fun environment when times are busy! I'm a university student at the University of Liverpool and would be more than willing to help offer any help with homework or academic activities with your children. I have volunteered at Heyhouses School over the years aswell with experience of ages 4-12.

| In order to complete both my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards I completed 2x 6 month periods of volunteer work at a local primary school, in the after school club. I also volunteered for the riding for the disabled association at a stables near me, where I would help and encourage both children (aged 4 and above) and adults with horse riding and stable management. In future, I would love to pursue a career in Psychology, either educational or clinical, where I wish to care for children and adults alike and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to not only bond with different children but also propel my career.

| I have 5 children of my own all grown up now and have 5 grandchildren waiting for another any minute now. I have worked in a primary school with all different age children from nursery up to year 6. Within this setting I have worked with lots of different children some with additional needs and some with complex needs. I also ran the Breakfast and after school clubs within this setting . I then wanted more of a challenge with the younger age group so went to work in a private nursery and have worked with children from 3 months to preschool children.

I have a full clean driving license and I am a non smoker. I have children of my own who are now older. I can carry out all aspects of housekeeping, cooking, shopping, school drop offs, homework etc.

| For a long time I have had an interest in working with children. After having much experience helping family and friends with their children, and working with children in nursery and school settings, my passion for working with children has grown. While at high school I completed a GCSE in childcare, then followed this with 2 years at college, doing a BTEC Extended Diploma in Childcare. During this time I have had experience with children from birth up to the age of 11 and have thoroughly enjoyed working and gaining experience with each age group. | Hi i'm Rachael and I'm looking for a summer holidays position this year (2022) i am 18 years old, I can drive and i am very responsible and independent. From a young age i have loved looking after children! In 2019 i went to college for 1 year to study early years where i would attend college 4 days a week and a placement in a reception class once every week. I have then worked in a Primary school as an Apprentice teaching assistant where i achieved a level 3 award (this lasted 18 months) I now have a full time teaching assistant position. during the past 2 years i have also worked in a after school club where i would create activities and prepare healthy snack for children ages 3-11 .I have lots of experience working with ages 2-8 specifically however i am comfortable working with toddlers- 11 years old.
