Requirements: hold an up-to-date DBS. Experience is desired but not essential, as all children and disabilities differ. They will be required to provide support with all aspects of personal care, feeding, mobility exercises, sensory play, meal prep, general entertainment, and putting to bed. The hours are Monday and Friday, 3.45 pm-7.30 pm. One to two full days of school holidays may also be required.

JOB OPPORTUNITY – (JOB SHARE OPTIONAL)*** Bury BL8 - Male PA(s) required to support 32-year-old wheelchair user. Hourly rate: £8.75. No experience required. 37.5 hours core support a week to be delivered Monday to Friday, generally from 09:00 to 16:30, plus an average of 7.5 hours additional support a week, usually to be provided in the evening and/or at weekends, as and when required. Duties include helping with all aspects of personal care, including scribing, eating & drinking, toileting, showering & drying, grooming, and dressing, assisting him to exercise at the gym, through hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and the use of EMS and a power-assisted cycle, accompanying him to, and assisting him, as necessary, at the hairdresser’s, the masseur’s, meetings, appointments and social/sporting events, as well as helping out with ironing and shopping. It is essential that any potential candidate is an English speaker, able to work flexibly, willing to manually lift and handle, a driver (with a valid driving licence for use in the UK) and does not smoke while on duty. It would be ideal if they were aged 25 to 38.
