A Family home requires a Housekeeper who will have duties traditionally associated with the role of a housekeeper including detailed cleaning, laundry, shopping and errands, pet care etc. You will need to have relevant experience, initiative, be highly organised, efficient and confident in all aspects of carrying out housekeeping operations for a reasonably sized home in Horam. You will need to be cat and dog friendly as maintenance and care of our pets is an aspect of the job. Requirements: • Proven 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. • Holding a full driving license • Precise with great attention to detail. • Flexible in approach with a “can do” attitude. • Able to work autonomously. • Be physically Fit - The property is on several levels and require active personnel. • Pet friendly • A good communicator speaking English. • Preferably a non smoker. • Courteous and polite - understand professional but discreet. • Well presented • Of a good-humoured and cheerful disposition. Your Responsibilities • Cleaning and upkeep of the house inside and out to a very high standard. • Performing all laundry functions. • Ensure all cupboards are well stocked. • Make sure the house is kept in a good presentational state at all times and make sure guest accommodation always kept fresh and ready. • Reasonably assist with gardening during quiet periods Schedule: 3 days a week - Min of 6.5 hours per day – ideally Mon/Wed/Fri Work the occasional Saturday when we are entertaining Job Type: Full-time Salary: £13.00-£14.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
