My father is 96, nearly blind and nearly deaf, mum is 90 and has mobility issues and early dementia. I have a temporary live in care person at the moment and she leaves (for certain) on 16th November. Lovely house in the hamlet of Netherton, near newton abbot. You must be a good cook to stimulate their appetite, and the housekeeping needs to be done. They rarely go out. Mum sometimes needs night time assistance hence only female carers please.

Hi, I'm looking for someone calm and kind, happy to do household chores and some basic cooking, admin and any support with problem solving with day to day issues sometimes, phone calls etc, pop to shops now and then, sorting out belongings and practical about helping things like having a clear out, tidying things as needed. The help is for me but my mum who Im living with temporarily but long term, also needs some help which we can talk about. Crucial that anyone doesn't use fabric conditioner as I'm allergic to the chemicals they give off. I also can't tolerate any fragrance so would need to talk about that. I am happy to purchase relevant fragrance free products to enable the right person to come and work as my cater. It makes it hard to find anyone but I have in the past so hopeful I can again! Current carer is moving to the North of England due to property prices. I had the same carer for 5 years before that. Knowledge of MEcfs would be beneficial. The hours shown everyday on here are just to say that it couid be any of those days, eg 3 x 2 hours pw, or could be one 2-3 hour slot a week if I need to find 2 or 3 PAs/ carers Or 2 long and one short slot! It all depends on who I find and working it all out. Thanks so much!
