Hi, #I am looking for a self-employed carer to help with looking after my mum who has Alzheimers and lives with us. I am looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, kind and patient. #Initially I am only looking for 9.5hrs per week as we will be funding this privately. We currently live in Atherton, Wigan (due to a house fire) but will be permanently moving back to Heaton, Bolton by the end of November so need someone who can travel to both areas. Once back in Bolton I will do a social service referral for an assessment and once completed I will be asking for direct payments for everything (personal care, day service, respite and hours for myself as the carer) so there may be more hours. #My mum will need personal care/continence & dressing support, drink & meal/snack making, medication administering, companionship, constant supervision and taking locally for a coffee and a cake or similar. She will need to link when walking and cant walk far when out and about. #If you are interested, then please answer the questions below and if everything is satisfactory we can then arrange to meet for a chat. 1 - Could you work Mondays 10.15am - 13.45pm and Tuesdays 7.45am - 13.45pm starting 14th September? 2 - Could you do adhoc times/days (which would be agreed between us) so I could go to the dentist or hairdresser for example, potentially at the weekend or evening? 3 - Do you have photo ID, checkable references and an enhanced DBS? 4 - Are you registered self employed? 5 - Are you comfortable with dogs/cats? 6 - I have two children aged 11 and 13.
