Our family is searching for a hard-working elderly care provider. Ideally you would have a few years of experience, references and live near Goole DN14. Live in Carer required to work on weekends to join an existing team of 3 who provide care 24/7 . (usually from10am- 10am) and possibly occasional cover on weekdays. This could be a short term post august/sept with the possibility to extend. Caring for a good spirited and active lady in her nineties in her own home in the centre of Howden, a busy little town with plenty going on right on your doorstep! (East Yorkshire). Would suit someone local. Must have previous experience of caring for someone with memory loss, encouraging independence where possible and providing help with washing and dressing as necessary, cooking and general assistance around the home. Must enjoy the Social side of care, encouraging interesting conversation and taking part in stimulating activities inside and outside the home. Car driver essential for trips out, visits to garden centres and other places of interest, apointments etc. references required.
