Hello, welcome to Willow Glen Daycare!

My name is "Keirsty (pronounced Keer-stee) and I am a mom of 10 yr old twin boys. Prior to becoming a mom and a daycare provider, I worked as a Marriage Family Therapist and switched careers shortly after the babies were born. I have been in business 5 years and love what I do! Because I am a very small business and maintain a low enrollment, I am able to give your children all the time and attention they require. I follow a typical pre-school structure with a mixture of free time and planned exploration activities focusing on creativity and imagination. I start the day with circle time that involves music, movement and a story and, if the weather permits, we set out for a morning walk. I live on a nice street where neighbors know each other and kids play outside. Sometimes we'll walk around the neighborhood and if we are feeling more adventurous we will head to a local park or story time at the library.

I provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for your children that allows them the opportunity to develop and grow in a home away from home environment. Collaboration with parents is essential to a successful partnership. I aim for a co-parenting style and work with parents to understand and support their children's every need from an emotional, physical and behavioral standpoint. With a maximum 3:1 ratio I'm able to support your children through every developmental milestone and have them preschool ready when the times comes.

I know juggling work and home life has its challenges and I am here to assist! My children are in San Jose Unified School District and with the school hours and various school holidays, it can be hard to organize care for siblings. Because of my low enrollment I have plenty of room to accommodate siblings daycare needs and I'm happy to help.

Weekly full time rate: $475.00
Open from 7:00am-5:30pm

COVID:
Due to the pandemic I take safety and health cautions very seriously for the protection of your family and mine. We sanitize hands and take temperatures before entering, wash hands throughout the day and I sanitize in the evening in preparation for the next day. My family is vaccinated but, with all of the uncertainties, we remain cautious.
