Let's Talk about Family Day Care :)
Everyday, I feel like I am dropping my kid at one of my Family's place. So much assurance/peace, as a parent, is what I get.

My family is so happy to have found Kalai's daycare. My Daughter love coming to daycare and learning new things, which is creating a strong foundation for enthusiasm for their education. They dance, sing, make art, learn letters. I am so grateful to feel confident that I have a safe and loving space for my children. I never hesitate when I drop them off in the morning and they are always playing happily when I pick them up in the evening.

Ms. Kalai was the obvious choice for child care for our family even before we left the interview. Our son adored Ms. Kalai from the beginning.
We have come to respect and appreciate everything Ms. Kalai does for our son. She is a wonderful child care provider and a great role-model for the children. Her daily schedule provides a well-rounded combination of education, play, story time, arts and crafts, outdoor time and so much more. All of the children in her care respect and adore her. We have noticed great improvements in our son's speech and how he interacts with other children since he's been under her care, and she was such a huge help in the potty training stage.
We understand that leaving your child in the care of another person or child care facility can be incredibly difficult. We are very comfortable leaving our son with Ms. Kalai and never had reason to worry about his safety or well-being in her care. We always knew he was in a loving and safe home.
My son is now enrolled in preschool, and we were genuinely sad to leave Ms.Kalai's and so grateful for her time there!

Tiny Violets is my son's first in-home care experience and he is going to this daycare for the past two years and he just loves it. He has made lots of friends. At the end of each week, my son will be excited to show me the activities he has done through the week. I remember my son saying that he wants to go to Kalai aunty's daycare even over the weekends.. haha..:)
I have zero complaints - be it care, safety or cleanliness. As parents, we have great peace of mind and we felt that we had found a safe place for our little one. Kalai including her team and family have been such a blessing for us. They have been absolutely amazing with our 2.5 year old daughter, Lana. We could not be more at peace every morning when we drop her off as it does not feel like we drop her off at a regular daycare center, it feels more like we drop her off with extended family.
Lana absolutely loves Kalai. She usually jumps up from the breakfast table when we ask her if she wants to go to Kalai's house.
When we have a longer day at work, because something comes in between, it is so comforting to know that she is in good and loving hands. Their daily routine includes circle time, art, dance, playtime and much more. I wish i could give Zero for everything that's done to my innocent 10 month old son. We were clearly fooled by good reviews here and we opted for Tiny Violets because it was home based assuming extra care will be taken care. But to our horror we found our son bound to high chair with no food tray nor any one attending to him while he is screaming when we went to pick him up at 5 PM. when questioned answer is "he is touching vacuum cleaner" . But why is there a vacuum cleaner in infant room during normal hours? Before we come out of this shock she ends contract. All the trauma my son and we had to through for 2 weeks was totally not worth it. All she does is leave kids to play and put lunch and snacks that was packed in front of them. Does nothing else to soothe child who is overwhelmed by new change. I'm glad my son is out of this place is in very GOOD hands in ANOTHER DAY CARE!

Please allow me to share my response to your concerns.
1. When a new child starts the day care, I have a policy to try for first 2 weeks, which helps both the parents and I to decide whether to continue after 2 weeks or not. In this case, I have ended the contract by the end of 2 week period, not due to the Kid, felt like not going to work out between us for long run, based on my interactions for the first 2 weeks.
2. Also, I like to clarify that, you came thru a referral who s still our client ( been with us for both the kids, for last 2 plus years), you can still check with her about our service.
3. After I mentioned about my decision to end my contract, you mentioned ( by text, still have it) that you are very happy with everything and things were going well, definitely like to continue the day care, etc., but I stood with my decision. Your review here completely opposite to what you shared with me by text.
4. I have been doing this business very sincerely and you can see that in the detailed comments from our clients below, I understand that it didn t work out for you, that doesn t mean that you can TWIST and SHARE rough comments stating wrong facts. Again, I sincerely respect your review, have expressed what you feel, it s my duty to clarify from my side.
5. Regarding the vacuum cleaner, want to clarify that, by the end of the day, we Vaccum the room, during that time, the kids will be moved to a different room, the incident you are referring, the Vaccum was done and kids has been moved back to the room, but not running/cleaning that time.
Anyway, I am glad that you have found the right place for your child, good luck and sorry for the inconvenience.

We had our son from 8 months to 2.5 years at Tiny Violets and have been very happy with the experience. Our son was very happy to go there every day which was proof enough of the level of care, and the overall growth opportunities provided there. Clearly, one of the best child care centers in 4s ranch area.

Our son has been going to Tiny Violets for past 9 months and he absolutely loves it.
Kali and all the care providers are very loving and professional at the same time. He was a very shy kid when he joined, now he made friends and is very excited to go to daycare everyday.

Tiny Violets Family Daycare is really nice.
When i was putting my little one, thought how she will get adjust to the new place , ppl, and language.
But Kalai did a magic within a day she got used to it and love to go everyday.
My little one does not want to miss, even when she is sick. i forcefully have to keep her home .

Tiny Violets is one of the best Home Day Care in Rancho Bernardo Area. My baby Eva is going there since 6 months. She loves this place. Her Aunty Kalai is warm, loving and fun person, always has a beautiful smile on her face. Miss Dakota & Miss Ashley are great caretakers too. Even she provides a detailed information of her day so we have an idea when she ate, pooped and napped. Trusting someone with your kid is not easy specially when she is a few months old baby but Kalai made it easier. She is great with kids and everyone loves her and obey her as well. My baby is learning so many things and I can see the beautiful changes in her. I believe I have found the best day care for my baby and I am highly satisfied.

I recommend tiny violets. My kids love to go Miss Kalai. Elder one started at 18months, he started talking after first few months after year and half at her care he speaks sentences and recognize shapes/colors/etc. She keeps kids busy with various activities , takes to outside parks. My younger one started at 5months he just loves her after second day. She keeps the place neat and tidy.

I highly recommend Tiny Violets daycare to all! My son started here just over 3 months ago when he was only 6 months old. We looked at 3 in-home daycares and 3 center daycares and Tiny Violets seemed like the right fit from the very beginning. Ms. Kalai is very welcoming and warm and I have no doubt that my son gets great care from herself and her staff. He is always smiling when we drop him off and pick him up and she also provides a detailed account of his day so we know when he ate, pooped and napped. I believe this is done for all the younger kids. She also does activities and music time with the kids and even at my son's young age of 9 months he has already brought home crafts to show-off! Her home is clean and well taken care of and I really believe my son is benefiting from being in such a loving environment with other kids.

We have had a wonderful experience at Tiny Violets. Miss Kalai provided loving care for my daughter from the age of 2-5. My daughter formed a great bond with Miss Kalai and her family over the years and was always happy and enthusiastic about going to daycare.
I love that Miss Kalai has a structured day for the kids without TV. While the kids are still able to have fun and have free play, they are also learning a preschool curriculum.
I am happy to recommend Miss Kalai and Tiny Violets Daycare!

Please allow me to recommend Kalai at Tiny Violets Daycare as your daycare provider. Kalai took loving care of my daughter "L" from the age of 1 - 5, until she entered kindergarten. Kalai is a loving and warm person who truly cares about the children in her care. My daughter formed a deep and lasting bond with Kalai and her family during her time at Tiny Violets.
A day at Tiny Violets is not eight hours of free-play and TV. As a former teacher, Kalai makes Tiny Violets a fun and engaging environment through a structured day of pre-school instruction, play time, naps and snacks. "L" was well prepared for kindergarten and has succeeded in school in large part due to the early childhood education she received at Tiny Violets.
I definitely recommend Kalai and hope your child benefits from her care as much as mine has.

We have twin girls that have been at Tiny Violets for 2 yrs, since our girls were 6 months old. The staff is friendly, kind, and patient. Our girls love their friends and their teachers. The facility is clean and well cared for. We couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

My 2.5year girl loves to go to Aunty Kalai, she has been going from 18months and no one I can trust better than Kalai's care. She is very loving, caring and fun with kids. Along with Kalai, Miss Dakota & Miss Ashley are a great caretakers too.
I like their weekly activities, learning has been great!
I recommended Tiny violets to many of my friends and Neighbours, everyone had a positive impact.

Tiny Violets is a safe and good environment for kids. There are no swings or TV's in the play area. They do weekly projects. Both of my sons have gone to this daycare and they love Ms. Kalai. She treats them with much love and care. I trust her with my kids.

One of the best home day care's in the area. The owner is very caring, loving and is very friendly towards the kids. Both of my kids used to go to this day care and even now I send them occasionally for after school care. she always updates on how my girls spent their time during the day including how they ate. She gives quality time with kids and I would highly recommend! I have also recommended several of my friends who have been pleased so far.
