We were looking for another preschool/daycare that would match our level of structure, training, and educational focus. Even though our LO just turned 12 months, we saw early on that she would need a great deal of educational stimulation & not just play (because of the work we started with her at home). From her first day at The Secret Garden she was exposed to reading & hands-on activities. Her day is structured (includes creative play time as well) which is a huge plus for us. We believe what she will have learned here by the time she reaches primary school, to include the social interactions & discipline in her schedule, she will have a great transition into primary school. We were so thankful to have found The Secret Garden Preschool..not many people can say that their 1 yr. old is working on puzzles, learning sounds & to sound out the alphabet, recognizing letters and words at 1! Our LO was been saying a few words since she was about 6 months (beyond the normal hi/bye/mom/daddy/etc.) but she is now using a lot more words and we attribute this to the work we do with her at home but also the lessons she is learning at The Secret Garden. Thank you Teachers Skp & Rissa!
