About the business
My name is Tammy, I am the owner & provider of a private home daycare in West Warwick. I offer a smoke-free, safe, loving, friendly, homelike environment for the children to play and grow in. Besides over 30 years of working/caring for children, I also have three (grown) of my own. I help teach children basic concepts, including colors, shapes, letters, numbers, songs, animals, sharing, and potty training. I care for infants up to 9 years old.
I hold certifications in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED, as well as First Aid. I had my COVID-19 vaccinations. I have a teacher's aide degree, took early child development in college, and volunteered at a local church babysitting.
The children have plenty of time for physical activity, quiet time (including daily story time), individual activities, meals, snacks, and free time. I have a fenced-in backyard with a swing set, a playhouse, ride-on toys, a sandbox, and room to run for the children to burn off extra energy. I also have central air for the warmer months.
I will give your child the best care possible. I enjoy taking pictures throughout the day and sending them to parents.

I honestly could not thank Tammy enough for taking such good care of my son, even if it was only for a week. She is very flexible and thoughtful. My son was always happy to go and sometimes didnt even want to go home. I will definitely call again if I need someone, especially short notice. Thank you thank you thank you!

Tammy has been great! She has watched my 9 month old daughter since she was 3 months old and made the transition back to work so easy for me. Her house is always incredibly clean and she was great with my daughter when she was going through some separation anxiety when I left her. I would recommend her to anyone. She also seems wonderful planning activities with all of the older kids from what I have seen when I drop my daughter off in the afternoons :-)

Tammy is so great! She kept my son for two weeks full-time at her home. They did many activities and she doesn't let them sit in front of the television all day. She also worked with my son with some preschool learning activities. Next time I need someone...Tammy will be our go to sitter.
