At Tami's Learn N Play Childcare, it is my mission to provide quality child care and learning experiences for children in a safe and caring environment, helping them develop socially, creatively, emotionally, physically and intellectually while all the while having fun. Your child will enjoy activities ranging from arts and craft projects to games, songs, finger plays, storytelling, creative dramatics, exercises, science, shapes, numbers, colors, alphabet, and much more through various monthly themes.
I am a licensed childcare provider and am Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified. I am 43 years old, engaged to my very best friend, and a mother of 2 wonderful children: a 4 year old daughter and a 16 year old son. My medical background includes 11 years as an EMT/Firefighter in Contra Costa and Napa County. I put that aside when my son was born and pursued my love for art. I began my own graphic design/ sign business, which I successfully have done for 16 years. I was propositioned by a friend a few years ago in need of help with childcare. I became a nanny for two wonderful years until, unfortunately, they had to move out of state. This experience encouraged me to open my home to other children. I am passionate about working with, educating, and nurturing young children of all ages and look forward to caring for yours.
