As a first time mom, I was really nervous about leaving my baby when I had to go back to work. After a lot of searching and interviewing, we came across Sunita and we are so thankful we found her! She truly has a passion for taking care of children. Our daughter has flourished in her care and is always happy to see her. She works with her on her developmental milestones and we have seen her development soar. She is very respectful of each family's preferences and routines. She is very knowledgeable and, as first time parents, we have been incredibly grateful for suggestions and recommendations she has given us along the way. She truly loves our daughter as her own and she has become like part of our family.

We came to Sunita after a bad experience in kindergarten. My daughter was three years old, and for three months she never got used to the last kindergarten, she never wanted to go there and was constantly freezing there. We accidentally found Sunita, and lo and behold, after a week of adaptation, my daughter began to go to Sunita with great pleasure and even began to wait every day for the next day to go to Sunita. She always wore an extra jacket if my daughter was cold. They wrote letters and learned to speak. My daughter didn't speak English, but she studied with Sunita. Many thanks to Sunita for her concern

We have been using Sunita as our daycare provider for the past 2.5 years. Our daughter was just 11 weeks old when she started at Sunita's. As a new mom, I was extremely nervous and apprehensive, leaving my daughter with a stranger. Sunita made me feel so at ease though. She was so loving, kind, gentle, compassionate and truly took care of our daughter like her own. Our daughter came to love Miss Sunita and learned so much from her. When we were expecting our son, we knew we wanted Sunita to take care of him as well. He now attends with her and comes home smiling everyday. She has always been available and works with our schedules. Sunita gives daily reports, cooks for the children, sends pictures and even does cute hair styles! :) We highly recommend Sunita as a daycare provider!

I was very much in worry to find a good home day care for my son and I came across the name of Sunita and I kept calling her for a long time to secure spot for my son and now my son is going to Sunita daily :) She is very caring , loving and understanding the best thing is my son even miss her over the weekends and he is excited to go to Sunita's place daily morning, he learned many things in short period of time and I never see any 2 years old ever say Momma Please give me toys or thank you or even sorry! we are super duper happy with Sunita and we have lot of respect for her! she is also very ethical and very well mannered as well as very patience :) her calm personality we admire and which is what I was looking for my son!

After my neighbor recommended Sunita's place, I kept calling Sunita for almost five months to secure a spot. Finally, it happened and I am so glad it all worked out. My daughter still goes there and loves it. I have told Sunita that she is the most important person for us because without her I don't think my husband and I would be able to focus on our work. My daughter always comes home very happy (with cute braids). She surprised us when she started saying her alphabets, and now she signs songs that she learns at Sunita's place. One of the best things is that she gets to eat home-cooked meals.
I highly recommend Sunita's place. The care and price is unbeatable!

As a family new to the area, I was in need of a person who could watch my 1 year old son full time and my 4 year old daughter when she is not in preschool. I was SO lucky to have found Sunita! I had only ever had an in-home nanny and au pair to watch my two children, and was unsure about sending them to a traditional day care, so I was so thankful to have found Sunita who is close by my home to watch my kids while I work. Sunita is kind, caring, gentle and truly loves the children she watches. There are so many days I stop and think about how lucky I was to have found her. With no family around, Sunita has stepped in to watch them in the evenings and weekends. She always is happy to reply with "no worries" or "no problem" when I ask her something or when I need the kids to stay with her after hours. She cooks meals for the children and gives me a report each day on how my son (a picky eater) eats and sleeps. She does "homework" with my daughter each day and will fix her hair in a braid. The kids enjoy being with her and the other children she watches. I'm so thankful for Sunita and the care she provides for my children!

Sunita is THE BEST! She is caring, professional, and very flexible. My son (5 months old) is always so happy and calm when he goes to Sunita's home. She has training certifications in just about everything: first aid, CPR, and so much more (to include baby massage) and she's so sweet with my baby.
I never have to worry about my son when I drop him off. Instead, I can focus on work or even errands of the day. If you have to drop your child off early or pick them up late, or even need care on the weekend of off-hours, Sunita will work with you!
She really is the best!

Sunita is wonderful! She took care of our daughter from 3 1/2 months to 9 months, and was always so kind and flexible. We were worried about leaving such a young baby in someone else's care but our daughter was always smiling and happy when we picked her up and we could tell she was being well cared for. Sunita was extremely understanding when we needed to drop or pick up early or late, and the location right by Vienna metro was so convenient for us. We would highly recommend Sunita to anyone looking for infant care!

Sunita has watched our now 2 year old on multiple occasions and we, including our daughter, absolutely love her. She is one of the most warmest and kindest people we have ever met. Whenever we scoop our daughter up, she's always in the best of moods (and always has amazing braids), and I know that has everything to do with the care and love that Sunita provides. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

We highly recommend Sunita as caretaker, who cared for our daughter beginning at the age of 2-1/2 for about 14 months. We were new to Fairfax, unsure of what our daycare options would be. After we interviewed Sunita, we had a feeling immediately that Sunita would be a good fit. She has kind and gentle mannerisms that we thought we be a positive influence for our toddler. Over the 14 months that she cared for our daughter, she proved to be loving, kind, reliable and flexible on too many occasions to count. Sunita was structured without being rigid.

Importantly, we came to place full trust in Sunita as she cared for our daughter as though her own child. As well, Sunita's children contributed to my daughter enjoying her experience.

But Sunita went beyond typical daycare duties by practicing with my daughter to write the alphabet and numbers.

We really owe a huge burden of debt to Sunita. Looking back, Sunita played a very important role in our lives, not only by allowing us parents to get rooted in our new jobs but also by contributing meaningfully to the development and care of our daughter. We really could not be happier with her. Our daughter moved on to pre-K, and leaving was a very somber occasion. We still miss Sunita.

We love Sunita. She is currently taking care of our two children and they love her! She works with my three year old on writing alphabet and numbers and spends time doing "homework" with him everyday. She is so sweet and caring and takes care of our children as if they are her own. I love that she is flexible and is willing to keep them later or have them dropped off early if the need arises. I never worry about them when they are there as I know they are being well taken care of.

My daughter attends Sunita's in-home day care and I give it the highest of recommendations!! It is in a brand-new town home in a safe neighborhood, also very accessible to get to, close to both I-66 and the Vienna metro station. Very convenient! The most important thing is that Sunita has such a sweet disposition, and my daughter is so happy there. It is always vacuumed spotless and clean everywhere, and the space for the kids is beautifully organized and safe. She provides healthy balanced meals and my daughter wants to eat everything Sunita serves. She is very flexible as to each child's schedule and parents' preferences.

I have to mention one of the nicest things about the daycare is that you can take your child on the WEEKEND, even on evenings! It is really hard to find an in-home daycare that will do this. My husband works on the weekends, so many times the only way I can get a break for a few hours is to take Lauren to Sunita's home. She is incredible flexible, she has always been available, even with last-minute notice. This has been a lifesaver more than once!! I can't say how glad I am that I found this wonderful woman and what a good feeling it is to leave your child and have complete peace of mind that he or she will be so well taken care of, and actually enjoys being there! If you are in search of the perfect childcare provider, do not look any further, it would be almost impossible to find someone better than Sunita!!

Sunita is amazing! It is so hard to find someone to trust to watch your baby but Sunita treats my 11 month old daughter like her own. Sunita is attentive and loving and her location is great, right by the Vienna metro. She is flexible and understands if we are late for pick up. She is also extremely accommodating when plans/schedules change and has always offered to help on weekends or if emergencies arise. I would (and have) recommended Sunita to others looking for childcare.

I was worried about having to send my son to daycare, but Sunita has made the transition so easy :-) She is very attentive to my son and he adores her. I am so glad I found her on care.com! I would recommend her to anyone in the Fairfax area.
