About the business
Curriculum plans have been developed to meet children's individual needs and interests. Alternating periods of quiet and active play are offered. Weather permitting children will go outside each day. We usually walk in the neighbors. Playtime is designed to be non-gender based. There will be group activities each day as well as opportunities for children to play individually. I teach children basic self help skills such as feeding themselves and putting on their own socks and shoes when developmentally ready, it develops their self-confidence when they can do things for themselves. I encourage all children to try everything, but never force them to do something against their will.
Examples of activities: listening to stories, learning songs and finger plays, simple science experiments, painting, and simple food preparation.
Children will have a "nap or rest time" each day after lunch. Infants will nap on their own schedules.

Amazing place!
Sparkling Star is safe home daycare ! Cindy and her helpers is so gentle,nice, caring, and they have pleasure to take care of children. They really loved.

We love Cindi and Sparkling Stars! Cindi provided care for my daughter (now 6) and son (now 4) from 3 months of age. Cindi provides a calm, warm, loving environment. She provides structure and routines and offers many early learning opportunities as well. It was SO comforting to be able to drop my children off with Cindi and know that they are loved, safe, and having so much fun! We cannot recommend Cindi highly enough.. she has been a very important part of our children's development, and she now feels like family!
