Thanks to the pandemic, my husband and I were fortunate enough to spend 13 months at home with our first child. When it came time to find care for her, I was a nervous wreck. We wanted to find a nurturing, in-home environment that would provide quality childcare while also working hard to keep our daughter safe during unprecedented times.
Mrs. Peggy has been exactly that, and so much more. From the first day our daughter started in Mrs. Peggy's care, my anxiety immediately subsided. For almost a year now, she has kept our daughter safe, healthy, happy, and loved. Her home is clean, she is extremely knowledgeable on early childhood development, she is passionate and caring, and she provides a wide range of developmentally appropriate play-based opportunities for all of the children in her care. Not only does she work hard to provide a safe, comfortable environment for children, but she also ensures that all of the children in her care have everything they need throughout the day. Meals, nap time essentials, cups, rain boots, holiday activities, birthday parties...she thinks of everything!
Mrs. Peggy continuously goes above and beyond to provide quality childcare, and at the end of the day, our daughter never wants to leave. She loves Mrs. Peggy and the friends she has made. There are truly not enough words to explain how thankful we are to have found Mrs. Peggy.

Peggy is amazing! We waited till the last minute to determine child care for our baby before I went back to work, and I truly believe finding Peggy was meant to be. We started with her when my daughter was just under 3 months old, and from the very beginning she has cared for her as if she were family. Peggy is so attentive, caring and fun! She threw my daughter a party for her 1st birthday, and it meant so much to us that she got to celebrate with Peggy and the kids there. She also feeds my daughter healthy meals, gives her opportunities to play outside, and works with my daughter's sleep schedule. As a first time mom, I also enjoy learning things from Peggy. She is a wealth of knowledge and so easy to talk to. We are so blessed to have Peggy, and the smile my daughter gives her everyday tells me that she loves her too!

When we moved to the Austin area 3 years ago, I was panicked to find a sitter to watch my two young boys in such a short amount of time, so that I could begin the school year teaching. Peggy took them into her home with open arms, a gentle heart, and a friendly smile. My worries were eased when I saw how well taken care of my boys were throughout the day. Peggy took time to get to know my boys. She played songs and bought special toys to spark their interests. She fostered a love of learning, exploring, and adventure in my boys. I can not say enough good things about Peggy and the exceptional care that she provided for my family. She was missed every weekend and Mondays were a breeze because my boys were ready to see Peggy after two days away! We are so thankful to have had Peggy in our lives!

It's hard to put into words what a blessing Ms Peggy has been for our family. I had to return from maternity leave 6 weeks sooner than expected and Ms Peggy took our son Noah when he was less than 2 months old. If we hadn't found her, there is no doubt I would have left my job. I have anxiety about leaving my children with anyone who is not family, but from the moment I stepped into her home, I knew she was something special. Her professionalism, gently nature, and experience made me feel confident I was making the right choice. I honestly can't image leaving him in the care of anyone else. Noah has
been with Ms Peggy for about a year now and he has been nurtured and loved beyond what any other caregiver would do. She treats her children like her own family. Noah is quite active and there is always an abundance of new indoor and outdoor toys for him to play with. He also has quite a ferocious appetite and Peggy provides him with nutritious meals and challenges him to try new things. She is located in a nice, safe neighborhood that is conveniently located so my commute into Austin is quick and easy in the morning.

As a first time mama there was a lot of anxiety with finding daycare and leaving my daughter with someone other than family. That's why we were so lucky to have found Peggy, she is absolutely wonderful and made the transition back to work easy.
My daughter has been with Peggy since she was 7 months and I have always felt that she is in a place where she is safe, loved, and growing in every way possible.

There are not enough good things to say about Peggy. Our twin babies started with her at just a few months old and have been loved beyond belief every day since then. She is so fun and organized and our kids LOVE going to her house each day. In fact, they often ask about seeing Peggy on the weekends. We have been so lucky to have someone to care for our babies when we couldn't be there. She bends over backwards to provide quality care and goes way above her call of duty! We are so grateful for this amazing woman!

Peggy was the first caregiver for my son when he was 3 months old. She supported him for almost three years. She is kind, knowledgeable and experienced. Peggy quickly became a loving extension of our family. As a new parent, I appreciated her expertise and felt confident leaving my son in her care. As an educator, I appreciated her commitment to individualized child development and learning through play. She loves her work and is excellent at it! I highly recommend Peggy as a caregiver.

Peggy kept our daughter from 16 weeks of age until just over 3 years old. She is so caring, loving and attentive. Brooke loved going to Ms. Peggy's. She treated her as if she is her own child. Our daughter is almost 5 years old now and still talks about Ms. Peggy.

Peggy has cared for our little one since she was about 4 months old. My daughter loves her and is always excited to go. Peggy has always been very loving toward her. She is very attentive to each child's needs and keeps things fun and interesting for them. She has been a blessing to our us because we do not have family nearby, and she will keep our daughter when I have to work late or when we need babysitting care outside of the regular schedule. She has a very calm and gentle personality that makes children feel very comfortable with her.

Peggy has watched my youngest son since he was 3 months old, and he is now 2. Peggy is the best! She is extremely loving and caring for my son and the other children that she watches. My son loves going to see her each day and playing with the other children there.

Peggy was very conscientious of my son's needs as a young infant, and I know he had a lot of quality time with her each day, being held and taken care of. With toddlers, she is very good at planning activities for the older children while the younger ones are napping - going outside in her great yard, playing with water, etc.

I think of Peggy as an extension of our family, and 100% trust her with my children. I found Peggy after enrolling my youngest in a local daycare for 3 days, and then panicking as I realized his needs were not being met and the care was not up to my standards. My family is blessed to have found Peggy to take care of my son, and we plan on keeping him with her until he starts pre-K at 4.

For additional context, I have had experience with other types of child care for my older 2 children, including 4 local daycare centers in the area. I would recommend Peggy hands-down, especially if you are considering a larger daycare center. My older children used to cry and drop-off as they were transitioning to their day, often having different teachers and many new faces in the room. My youngest son is never upset to be dropped off with Peggy and has spent time with her outside of our regular hours and always been so happy to see her.
