Background: When we moved with our 3 kids from Germany to Palo Alto, we did not know anybody, our kids could not speak any English and we were looking for a play-based preschool for our youngest almost 4-year-old son.
We went to PNS on an open house day. Our entire family just fell in love particularly with the spacious, shaded outside area including play structures, slides, swings, sandboxes, many play vehicles, flying fox, vegetable garden, poultry coop, ... We were thrilled by the opportunities that this little preschool provides to grow up in a imaginative, safe and child-loving surrounding.
Reflecting on the passed 12 months we can say that PNS has met all our expectations and it was and is the right choice. Not only did our son make friends and learn English naturally, but also our whole family became part of this unique community. Working in the classroom once a week (requirement), being allowed to hang out in the front yard after school and attending many fun social events: Ice-cream Party, International Potluck, Carnival, ... all this made it easy for us to get to know other PNS families and to gain a social network that we can truly rely on.
ParentsNurserySchool is more than just a 'drop off and pick up' pre-school - it is community :-)
