As director of Apricot Tree Preschool, it's my goal to help all of our little ATP students thrive! I am a mom to four children, three sons and one daughter. I have an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies, as well as a B.S. degree from BYU in Business, with a minor in Marriage and Family, focused on the child in the family, community and culture. I have also passed the CBEST. I have had the opportunity to work with children and teens in many capacities, including as a nanny, as a licensed childcare and preschool provider, as well as a youth camp director, and most currently as president of an organization of young women (teenage girls) through my church. I offer years of experience along with many creative and fun ideas to teach and nurture your children. I have experience with large and small groups, as well as specially-abled children. Most recently, I have spent the last few years working in the Cupertino School District, as well as tutoring and teaching lessons to English Language Development students, in correspondence with completing a TESOL certificate through BYU. This certificate included curriculum training, teaching methods, culture awareness teaching, as well as phonics and language strategies. I am excited to be returning to my first love of teaching and watching infants, toddlers and young preschool students grow and progress.
