Margot treated my daughter so well and taught her so much I could never let her know how grateful I am for her. She is a wonderful caretaker and excellent teacher. My daughter learned Spanish, numbers, letters, and manners with Margot. Margot is a gift and I was so sad when it was time for preschool.

My daughter went here until we had to relocate for job reasons (first year) and I can't say enough good things about Margot and her daycare. She has a converted her basement into a lovely and safe daycare environment for the kids and lots of organized activities. Margot's very active, and that spills over into the daycare environment. The children get outside a lot--I never worried about whether my daughter and the other kids got enough sunshine. I think one of the best things about the place is that Margot is very willing to work with you on meeting your needs and your toddlers needs--she followed the schedule that we used at home for infant naps, was willing to use the cloth diapers we used at home, etc. Margot's mother is very often there in the afternoon, which means the kids get lots of extra attention.

Margot is definitely a childcare provider who has purposefully made this her profession, and working moms like me are grateful that there are folks out there who enjoy this job and do it so well. Good childcare in this area of Silver Spring, especially for young kids can be hard to find, but Margot's Place is a hidden jem.
