I am a mom of 3 watching a few children out of our home in Orangeburg. I have openings for summer and fall 2018 ages 6 weeks to 5 years. I am also available for before school care for Franklin Ave elementary, the bus can be taken from my house with my own 2 girls. I have been watching children for the past 3 years and can provide excellent references.

I love kids and am currently going back to school for my Master's in special education. Every morning, we do circle time. We learn the days of the week, the months of the year, and talk about the weather. Then we usually read a book and do an art project. After circle time, we go outside, weather permitting. I am big on kids having fresh air and outdoor play. As long as it's not raining or heavy snow, I bundle them up and get them out at least for a little while. If we can't get outside, I try to at least have them get some exercise by doing things like dance parties or kids yoga. I love reading to them, doing arts and crafts projects, playing games and singing songs. I am a big believer in play-based learning so I try to give the kids free time to use their imaginations and learn how to interact with each other socially but I also do structured activities like art projects and circle time.
