Hello, my name is Nancy and founder of Little Neptunes' Childcare!

I wanted to start something small so I can create a small and cozy environment, somewhere I am able to give a more one-on-one with the children. I understand each child is unique, they grow and learn differently so I want to create an environment where children feel comfortable and can learn at their own pace. Providing a home away from home. Encouraging their curiosity, their eagerness to learn all while having fun. A child's caregiver along with their parents are some of the few people the child sees consistently so not only do I want to be involved, listen, respond appropriately, and respectfully to each child. I also want to create a comfortable environment for the parents. I want them to feel safe when they're leaving their child with me. I hope I can provide this and more for you and your family!

The curriculum is Learning Through Play. There will be a different theme every week. There will be different activities throughout the day that will stimulate and help their cognitive, fine motor, gross motor, social-emotional, sensory, and literary skills. We will have circle time everyday where we will read books, sing songs, talk about the weather, letters, numbers and the theme of the week. There will be art activities, sensory, and special activities done every week. We will practice Spanish, Sign Language, and Yoga.

- Located in Chicago(Humboldt Park) with a small and cozy environment.
- Walks, trips to the park, trips to the zoo, trips to the museums and neighborhood activities.
- Pick-up and Drops-offs made by me are available with no extra charge and are available everyday if you choose.
- I do provide all of the food. This is breakfast, lunch, and snack. It includes solid food, purées, formula, baby oatmeal, puffs, milk, and water. All food is organic and made fresh everyday!
- I am CPR, First-Aid certified and fully vaccinated!
- I use the BRIGHTWHEEL app for updates. The updates are about your child's day it's diaper changes, potty times, meals, nap times, and daily pictures of their day.
- It is open Monday through Friday(No weekends) from 8AM-6PM. Extended childcare can be provided with no extra charge!
- Cameras on for safety!
