I can't say enough good things about Learn and Play. My son started there around 12 months old and my daughter started around 4 months old. Mrs. Shirin and her staff take such good care of our little ones. They treat them like their own and I know they are in good hands while they are there. They always have fun activities like crafts, music, outside fun and parties on holidays/birthdays! My son truly blossomed when he started here!

Shirin makes a very comfortable and fun environment for kids of any age. My daughter is 3 and has been attending since she was 15 months. She's always treated my son and daughter as if they were her own. They come home tired and excited to go back the next day. She does a lot of activities, crafts, games, dance, and reading with them. Plus offers a varied menu of nutritious meals and snacks. We will miss Shirin and Nadia, her helper dearly when we move this summer!

We absolutely love Learn & a play for our 8 month old! He's so cared and loved for and gets excited to see the women every day. Highly recommend!

Learn and Play is one of the best things that has happened to my family. My son has gone to Learn and Play since he was 6 months (now is 3) and has loved it. He spends his day learning, playing, sharing, and having a wonderful, safe, and fabulous time. Ms. Shirin and her family have become a part of our family and it is so evident how well the kids are taken care and loved. Highly Highly recommend!

First of all, I'd say that I'm not one to normally write reviews. Also, I prefer to take time before it.
Once I also worked in the educational field and I understand the expectations of parents and the real conditions.
But we've been so happy with Learn & Play Home child care, that I felt led to share about our experience so far.
We have 2 kids, and thanks to the older one we are very familiar with many of Fairfax and Loudoun county's preschools and daycares, and in most of them, we have always loved the curriculum with their philosophy. But nevertheless, there is always room for worry and doubt about the choice.
But when we discovered Learn & Play daycare, from the first second after the tour and getting to know Ms.Shirin, I realized that this is the very place, where I am without any doubt ready leave my one-year-old daughter, even if it's far away from us, in another county.
What really makes this daycare truly stand out however is the owner - Ms.Shirin.
She is absolutely phenomenal and during our stay there, we have never had a single drop of doubts about her professionalism.
Because she is a very welcoming, warm, consistent, genuine, passionate, loving, and extremely dedicated person and she is also incredibly attentive to the employees she works with, choosing kind, sincere and affectionate people.
Usually, you rarely see the teachers or the owner at the preschools, from the moment they open until they close, but Ms.Shirin is always there!
They are always in the best mood, meets the kids, communicates with the parents, and make sure that everything is running smoothly.
Ms.Shirin always cares and deals with children as with her own kids, monitors their neatness, so that they always look good and are clean =) just like a mother. That's very touching.
Also especially during the covid, she on the highest level takes care of the place, and this is the cleanest daycare that I have ever seen, I would say incredible clean.
Every day constantly they coming up with new activities for them. To call this place just as "home child care" not gonna be enough, because this is a full-fledged educational place for their ages where children are really taught and developed! They read books, sing songs, dance, make crafts, play games, interact with each other in a nice manner.
Also, we were so happy to know about their menu, which includes organic food and a lot of fresh fruits with vegetables.
Like any parent we all feel a little bit guilty leaving our small pumpkins with someone else, but not in the Learn & Play Home child care..
Because Ms.Shirin always sends updates throughout the day, pictures, you can ask her any questions and additionally, at the end of the day, you will always get a detailed daily report about your child's daily routine.
That always made us feel better and sure that our daughter in great hands.
The most important for us, we never heard our daughter crying there, she always was so happy to come there, despite her small age, she already knew what to expect and reacted happily to the teachers.
We already miss Ms.Shirin with Ms.Nadia.. and hope to come back soon.

This is definitely the bes place that we experienced.. and I really do feel like this school is as good as it possible if you're looking for top-notch, highest quality home child care, where kids will feel safe, loved, and happy.

Learn and Play is Amazing! My baby attends Learn and Play 5 days a week and we could not be more happy with the care they provide. He is happy, safe, clean, loved, and healthy everyday at Learn and Play. Highly affordable and more personalized care compared to MANY other childcare options. Highly recommended.
