About the business
Koala Kids Child Care is a Licensed family child care and is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. I am licensed for 6 children. Our child care is open year round Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Thursday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 PM. I care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. I am an EEC certified infant, toddler and preschool teacher and have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education . I have 30 years experience in the child care field. Licensed since 1995
Our family child care has a small group of children 1:6 ratio in a smaller setting which gives each child more one on one each day. Each child's day is filled with many hands-on learning experiences, music and movement activities, stories, opportunities to explore with art materials, blocks, pretend, sensory bins, math and science. We also have a large outdoor play area for the children to explore and have fun. With lots of water play in the summer months.
For infants we have a separate area in the room for them to have plenty of room for tummy time , bouncers, swings. Time to explore with floor toys and touch and sensory exploration activities. All infants schedules are determined based on individual development. All children are given individualized attention by singing, talking and playing with your infant. I take great care to accommodate each child's daily schedule. We want to create positive feeling and connection with each child.

Ms. Kristine daycare was excellent for our daughter. Our daughter was always happy to go in and it was clear that Kristine took great care of her and was very kind. There was numerous activities and paintings that our daughter enjoyed. There is a nice fenced in playground and many nice toys and activities for the children. our daughter thrived and had improved confidence and vocabulary after only a few months in the daycare.

Ms. Kristine is wonderful. Between my daughter and son we have been with her for 6 years with my daughter starting at just 4 months. From her passion to provide quality care for the kids and constantly coming up with new activities to do. Fenced in play area, incredibly clean and organized and on top of that, the small setting allows for you to make sure your child gets tons of attention. Kristine is very reliable, licensed, and has a degree in early childhood education. We could not be happier with our choice to use Koala Kids Child Care and Kristine!

I can't say enough about Ms Kristine. My son started at just 4 months old and from the very first day I knew I had made the best decision. Kristine is amazing with the kids and my son absolutely loves her and "going to school"! Kristine always plans the best activities and gives each child the one on one attention they deserve. My son has learned so much and his vocabulary has exploded all because of the time and care Kristine gave. From the very beginning I felt completely comfortable leaving my son in her care. I can't recommend Ms Kristine more!

After moving 1500 miles from Florida to Massachusetts, my husband and I had to find a place for our 1.5 year old boy. We wanted a safe, loving homey environment and we found it with Ms. Kristene @ Koala Kids. He would come home with cute crafts he had made and participate in themed days Ms. Kristine would create. Ms. Kristine provides top quality care and creates a fun learning environment. Highly recommend!

Both of my boys attended Koala Kids child care- my oldest from ages 1-4 and my youngest started at just 3 months old. I can not say enough positive things about our experience. My children were well cared for, safe and loved. Kristine always went above and beyond and continued to come up with creative ways to keep them engaged, having fun and learning. My children still talk about their time with Kristine and the friends they made. We will be forever grateful for the care our children received while at Koala Kids.

Our 2.5 year old started with Kristine after his last home daycare closed. It was a really smooth transition especially in light of covid and parents being unable to drop off inside. He loved his friends there, did a lot of sweet art projects, and enjoyed really sweet celebrations for holidays. The value for the rate is really great given the small size. We would still be with Koala Kids if our family situation didn't change and it was closer to our house.

Koala Child Care was the perfect setting to introduce our son to a childcare setting. Miss Kristine took amazing care of our son starting at just four months old when my husband and I worked full time. The facility is clean and organized, and all of the children were happy and playful at drop off/pick up. Miss Kristine does many fun activities with the children and found ways to include our son even as an infant. We miss her very much and cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a warm, home daycare setting. I cannot think of a better environment to start our son's childcare experience!

Sending my children to Koala Kids Child Care with Kristine was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was very nervous about someone else caring for my children, but Kristine made it so easy. My children love her and miss her and if that's not a testament to get great work then I don't know what is.

My son really loved his time at Koala Kids with Miss Kristine and his friends. Being an only child this was his first experience being in a structured setting with other children. He did great and enjoyed all of the activities that Kristine always has prepared. She is very good about doing many different things with them from arts and crafts, themed educational activities, holiday celebrations, and outdoor play! I was nervous when he started daycare but am very grateful that he was in such good hands. Whether you are looking for daycare or a pre-school setting for your child , this is a perfect nurturing atmosphere for your child to flourish!

My oldest son started going to Kristine at 1 and my youngest son at just 3 months old. Kristine has provided my children with not only excellent care but also love which in my opinion is so important. My kids have learned so much and made great friends along the way. Kristine has treated my kids as if they were one of her own. As a parent I believe one of the hardest things to do is leave your child in the care of others. My husband and I have been able to go to work daily and have peace of mind that our kids were safe and well cared for in Kristine's care. Kristine is attentive and goes above and beyond to provide care and great experiences for the kids. I would strongly recommended Koala kids Child care to parents looking for a home day care !

For 7 years we were been blessed with incredible childcare and the peace of mind that our boys have been loved, encouraged to ask questions, challenged to learn and supported to explore their unique gifts. Ms. Kristine is the perfect balance of nurture and structure. We highly recommend Koala Kids. Both of our sons were 100% prepared for Kindergarten.

I loved my experience at Koala Kids with Ms. Kristine. My two sons were with Kristine for a total of 9 years. My first was one when he began and my second began at 8 weeks old. They were always excited to see Ms. Kristine and their friends and always felt loved. They learned social skills, pre-school and kindergarten readiness skills as well as daily living skills. It was always a very clean and safe environment.

Kristine could not have provided better care for my daughter. We were with her from when she was still in diapers through the start of Kindergarten, and my daughter loved going every day. Kristine was reliable and caring, and I never had a moments hesitation dropping her off at the house. There was always lots to do, and she started Kindergarten with a great foundation of skills that she can learned at Miss. Kristine's. She made some fantastic friends there too, and we still keep in touch. I am beyond grateful for the years of care that Kristine provided in a engaging and caring environment.
