I was referred to Margarette by a friend who raved about her, and she has still managed to exceed my expectations. My older daughter has been with her for a year and has learned to read (above K level), write, draw, count to 100, basic addition and subtraction, she has memorized several Bible verses, and so much more!! Even more importantly, she loves her teacher and she loves being there every day. Miss Margarette is so good with these kids, she plays with them, she teaches them, she cares about them! My daughter is now transitioning to kindergarten and so sad to be leaving Miss Margarette, but I love this teacher so much I am starting my three-year-old with her now too.

My son was under Margarette's care for about a year. When he started, he was taking speech therapy classes as well as it was not the greatest. His speech has improved tremendously under Margarette. Without her, our son would not be at the level where he is now. He improved because of her dedication to get him ahead plus more. She has taught him stuff I probably wouldn't have been able to and am forever grateful. We trust her with our son completely and know that he was under great care. We will miss you over the summer! But hope to see you again for Kindergarten year. :)

My 4 and a half year old just started attending Keene Family Preschool roughly a month ago, and loves it! He has been out of a school structed environment, as he's been hanging out at home with me, for the past year and a half. He's catching on, and Ms. Margarette is there to help guide him every step of the way! He adores and respects her. He comes home singing songs that he learns, and actually found fun in coloring! I am anticipating how much more he's going to learn as time progresses.
As for Margarette, she is very sweet, trustworthy, dependable, well organized and on top of things. It's very noticeable that this is her true passion in life, and teaching young children about God, preparing them for school, teaching patriotism, and well mannered behaviors are what she's meant to do.
Highly recommend this phenomenal preschool.

Margarette is amazing! My son has been attending her daycare for about two months and he has learned so much during that time. She takes so much pride and joy in what she does. Margarette genuinely cares about the children and loves what she's does. I would recommend margarette to anyone. I love what my son is accomplishing here and I enjoy watching him grow.

Keene Family Day Care is such a great atmosphere for the kids to learn. My son was under Margarette's care for about 6months, we only left Keene Family Day Care because we are moving out of state. If I could, I would bring Margarette with us She is such a great person! So loving and patient with all the kids. She spends so much time and puts in so much work and effort into all the activities, games and parties She plans for the kids. My son went in knowing very little at 2 years old and came out knowing all his shapes and colors! He was coming home reciting Bible versus and songs accompanied by a whole routine! His coloring went from typical two year old coloring to staying COMPLETELY I side the lines and was coloring entire pages. He amazed both sets of grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. With his new knowledge. I can't Thank Margarette enough! She is definitely a special soul and was put here to help children excel and grow into little independent loving people. Thanks again Margarette!

I can't say enough about Ms. Margarette! She is amazing in so many ways. My little Kate has just flourished under the loving environment and educational opportunities. As a teacher, I hope someone would teach my little one as I would and Ms. Margarette does! At 3 years old, Kate was learning her phone number and address, writing her name, coloring beautifully, and learning her alphabet, sounds, shapes, colors, and much more. Every day I drop her off, and she runs to Ms. Margarette. Every day I pick her up, she's not ready to leave. She's too busy learning and reading and having fun! A perfect balance of education and play since kids need both. Lots of enrichment activities. Ms. Margarette loves them like they were her own. My older one would rather go to Ms. Margarette than 1st grade! We love Keene Family Day Care!

I love the Keene Family Daycare Margaret is great she watched my three girls and they love her Margaret got my 5 year old ready for kindergarten. My girls just had a blast learning and doing all the fun activities with Margaret we just love her a I would definitely recommend her with the care and education to your kids.

After only 2 months with Margaret, our daughter Eva (who is three years old) has learned to spell her name, knows all her primary colors and is working on shapes. Mrs. Margaret has created a wonderful atmosphere for the children. Our daughter loves going to Mrs. Margarette's house and enjoys her time with all the children. Mrs. Margaret has plenty of crafts, a structured learning time and loving environment. She provides love and care to all the children who attend her daycare. Our daughter Eva is very happy when we drop her off and excited too. Our previous daycare was a large facility and did not provide the one on one contact that Mrs. Margaret provides. Margarette of Keene Family Daycare cared for me between the ages of 7 and 11 (1997 - 2001). She was kind, organized, fun, and cared deeply for all of the children she welcomed into her home. She was careful to offer nutritional snacks and made sure all of the students she cared for finished their homework. However, when the homework was done, there were a wide variety of games, crafts, and even some sports waiting. I highly recommend Keene Family Daycare, and know they were a positive influence in my childhood!

Keene Family Daycare was truly a blessing to me. Margarette not only cared for my son for several years,but also provided a loving environment for my child. She has a structured schedule(which I liked) but also interacts with the kids by helping them with school work or playing games with them. This is not just a business to her,she truly loves and cares about these kids.

Keene Family Daycare is the best! As a child I tried out many daycares and I would definitely rate this one as the best! Margarette is so kind and loving! I remember actually being excited to go to her house after school. She was helpful with homework and always prepared with snacks, crafts, and games. If you are looking for a daycare - choose this one! You won't be sorry!

My family moved to Corona in 1996, and both of my parents worked full time and were in search of a sitter. My younger brother and I first went to a different place in Corona that was, honestly, traumatizing. After our experience, my parents were understandably worried about who would watch me (now in 4th grade) and my brother (pre-k). I'm not sure how they found Ms. Margarette, but once we were there it was awesome. She is truly a wonderful person. I can't imagine our childhood without her. We would do crafts just about every day, have sports contests on the front lawn, and have such a blast. I remember green eggs on St. Patrick's day for breakfast and tons of other fun stuff, but ALWAYS after homework was done, of course. Ms. Margarette is not just our former baby sitter, she is a dear family friend, and a person that my brother and I can never thank enough for such great memories of our elementary school days. I am now almost 23, and when I have kids (if were still in Corona) I will totally be sending them to the Keenes to make me some crafts and get to know this wonderful family :) DEFINITELY recommend!

All three of our children attended the Keene Family Day Care and we couldn't have been happier with the care they received. Ms. Margarette is fabulous and extremely caring of all the children. She has a structured program and provides an enriching environment with a balance of homework assistance, crafts and games. I am especially grateful for the extra time Ms. Margarette spent with our youngest child when she was in kindergarten. She had a mediocre teacher that was not teaching basic reading skills. Ms. Margarette spent extra time with our daughter teaching her to read She is now an exceptional reader and enjoys reading as a hobby. The Keene's are wonderful people with solid values which is expressed in their expectations of all the children while in their care; kindness, respect for others and honesty.
