About
My name is Josie. I'm originally from Brazil. My primary language is Portuguese, but I speak, read, and write English fluently.
I have 3 beautiful children of my own and I have been working with children for over 15 years. My program is play based withcurriculum. I believe children need structure, but also need time to play and while they play, they learn.
My students aren't just students, they are a part of my life and my home, and I care for them as I would like someone to care for my own kids.
I provide breakfast and an afternoon snack. Parents provide lunch.
I use the app Learning Genie to communicate with parents and share pictures and info.
I have many cameras installed for security and to cover any liability or accidents.
I am also insured.
Little more about my program
Over the summer we have our water day every Friday and we have small parties on special occasions (Valentines, Easter egg hunt , fall party and Christmas party).
