My family daycare currently has full-time openings for children, 2 and up. I am a mother and a childcare provider with over 20 years of experience. I strive to provide individual care and attention to every child. My learning philosophy is highly play based, however we work on letters, numbers, and colors every day through our environment, flashcards, puzzles, and Fireflies preschool curriculum kits.
I have a large yard for gross motor play as well as lots of opportunities and space for imaginative play and learning indoors. I serve a healthy breakfast, lunch and PM snack daily with all dietary restrictions or preferences considered. I am conveniently located near Ft. Detrick with easy access to 15, my business hours are 7:30 - 5:30, Monday - Friday (flexibility available), I have my 90 hour Child Care Teachers certification, I am 1st Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross, and I take continuing education classes in early childhood education every year to stay current on new and developing philosophies.
