Hello Families, I'm Jo!
I offer safe, clean, nurturing, and personalized in-home licensed childcare to infants, toddlers and school-aged children. I have been caring for young children for over 30 years, and truly love what I do! I have 4 girls of my own, who I have raised to become loving and considerate adults.
At Jo's Smile Childcare, my small ratio sizes allows me to provide one-on-one, personalized attention to your child, so that I am best able to meet their needs and foster their development. I treat each child as if they were my very own. I believe in offering every child my 4 main ingredients to building a happy child: Love, Consistency, Attention, and Expression.
We have a creative curriculum, where children are engaged in age-appropriate learning and tailored activities, including, but not limited to, reading, math, arts, science, songs, and playtime. I have a large backyard where your child can play and develop their fine and gross motor skills as well as their imagination. Additionally, I offer potty training for your young ones, when appropriate.
I am CPR & First Aid, Preventative Health & Safety Certified. Also, I have Advanced childcare training from the American Red Cross, and we have a certified registered nurse on staff. At Jo's Smile Childcare, all adults are fingerprint cleared through the FBI/DOJ & background checks are available upon request.
Activities: Include, but are not limited to:
- Circle time & story telling
- Learning ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes, emotions, social skills
- Puzzles & Games
- Arts & Crafts
- Free play, Imaginative play, Indoor play, & Outdoor play in turf covered and newly renovated backyard for safe playing
- Nap & rest times
- Celebrating birthdays and holidays by providing a special gift for your little one!
Jo's Smile Childcare is conveniently located right off the freeway for easy pickups and drop offs.

We had the pleasure to have Jo take care of our daughter. She was so great to my daughter! Unfortunately we relocated and had to find other arrangements for my 2 year old daughter but very often my daughter would look for Jo and her friends over at Jo's Smile Childcare! If I could giver her 10 stars I would!!!!!!

Jo is such a natural with my kids! She is very caring and her rates are affordable compared to others. They wake up every morning so happy to go to Jo's Smile Childcare and leave talking about all the learning and interactive activities they have done. In just a few months under her care, I have seen my son go from crawling to walking and my daughter has improved her ability to read and is successfully potty trained. This is all thanks to Jo!

I highly recommend Jo for all your childcare needs! From changing and feeding my 2 year old son to teaching him his shapes and colors, she truly does it all! My son absolutely adores her and just in the few months that we have started going to her, his speech has improved, he is now potty-trained, and he has bonded with the other kids. Jo is very kind and caring and with her flexible schedule and affordable rates, I am so happy I found Jo's Smile Childcare when I did.

My 3 year old daughter just loves Jo's Smile Childcare just as much as I do. Whenever I pick her up, she never wants to leave! She enjoys all of the activities and playing with the other kids. Jo is so sweet, caring, and considerate. I'm so lucky to have found Jo---5 star service and affordable childcare. I would only trust Jo with my children!

My son started seeing Jo part-time about a month ago, and absolutely loves it! I was a little concerned initially as he has never had anyone watch him but family. However, Jo and her staff really worked with us to ensure a smooth transition. She is very sweet and caring to the kids, and is also super flexible with her schedule. So thrilled to have found her when we did!

If you're lucky enough to get Jo to take care of your little one, this is the best place for your child. She really loves each one of the children. In fact, my 2 year old son doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. Every day, there's a ton of planned activities including: story time, music time, arts & crafts, and outdoor play areas. Her engaging family staff help my son and I get the most out his time there. Simply said, Jo has a magical touch with children, and it shows!

So glad I found Jo when I did! My son recently attended her daycare for about a year and loved being there. Jo treated him like family, and in all honesty, she truly is like family. My son can at times have a bad temper, but she was always very patient with him. It was there that he learned his ABCs and 123's. He will not be transitioning into preschool, and he is already above the curve from the other kids. I have Jo to thank for this. She definitely knows what she is doing and runs an excellent daycare program that is also very affordable. Truly an amazing deal for what she offers!!

Jo is a go-to lady with a great work ethic and a heart of pure sweetness! She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She did fun activities with my 4 year old daughter and made sure she was well rested. My daughter was so lively and bubbly when I picked her up, which is sign she had a lovely time. Amazing! I plan on sending my daughter to Smile Childcare again.

Smile Childcare is fantastic and I highly recommend! She has looked after our baby girl full time from 5 months old until 11 months old and we feel like we struck gold with her. Jo is very caring, dependable, and proactive. She has many years of experience and any family that has the chance to hire her is lucky. Unfortunately, my husband and I moved to Arizona due to work, but I would definitely use her again when I'm back in California!

If you're looking for a professional, welcoming and affordable place for your little ones, look no further because Smile Child Care is the place for you!! Initially, my husband and I were kind of timid taking our little ones ( Diana 19 months and Charlie 2 years old) to someone from an online app. But rest assure when we learned that Jo has over 32 years of taking care of infants, toddlers and children (including her own children who have grown up); we immediately felt more open to the amazing experience. Jo is so sweet and well prepared! She has age appropriate toys and books, high chair and a clean and lovely baby- proof home. Each time our 2 year old returns home, he can't stop talking about the wonderful things he learned with Jo! We would defintely continue to contact her to babysit our children in the future.
