My child care is easy described as flexible structure. I don't put time limits on our activities, rather I structure the day into logical segment of time. Meal times are consistent for most children. My day starts at 6 am in the morning until 5:30 pm. Myevening care starts at 6 pm until 1 am. Three meals are served each day and two snacks. Everything I do all day long, is turned into an educational experience. Introducing the children to household chores, too creative drawing and coloring. The kids learn to take care of themselves and their environment. They learn to respect themselves and one another. The biggest benefit to family childcare is that a second family is created outside the home with the children, parent and provider in my program. I care for children in my home.
