Hi!! My name is Laura Soltero. I am the owner/operator of a licensed, small family preschool/daycare program. My program serves children ranging in age from infants to school age. The program is play based with an emphasis on social emotional development and the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities that encourage growth in all areas. The program is also tailored to meet the individual needs of the children and the families that I serve.
My extensive background in education is multi-fauceted with experience ranging from working with school age children in an after school program to teaching Jr. Kindergarten for the Moreland School District for several years. After having my last child I saw the need for quality childcare in the community and decided to open Izzabug's Home Daycare. I truly love what I do and look forward to serving more children and their families in my community!

Laura has been caring for my baby girl for almost three years. My daughter has grown to love and trust Laura as an extensive part of her family. She has had the opportunity to learn letters, sight words, numbers, and colors. Laura has an immense devotion to the children she cares for and you can easily appreciate her dedication and passion for helping your child to grow and develop. My daughter is excited to go to Laura's each day and can't wait to share her days activities with me when I pick her up.

When returning to work after having my daughter I was looking for a daycare option in the community that would be a good fit. I was a first time mom and was very cautious in where I was going to send my baby girl. When I met Laura, my fears were placed at ease. She has small group ratios, lots of childcare experience, and is very organized with her program's curriculum. You can tell she loves what she does and my child loved her daycare. My daughter went to Laura's daycare for over three years and I could rest assured that she was well cared for, well supervised, and having a great time playing and learning. I can't say enough about Laura or her daycare program! My daughter started school this year and Laura was a big part in her easy transition into kindergarten.
